It’s invite only which makes it difficult to get in, and once you do you’re met with a million restrictions on what you can generate.

Any depictions of humans is not allowed, which makes this basically pointless.

Deleted my account and the app after a few hours. Don’t waste your time, and especially not your money.

I have to admit I was slightly surprised at the quality of the produced product once you zero in on exactly what you want which can take some time, but the only downfall is that you’re limited to 10 seconds and the software often takes things out of context and puts its own words in there, which is great but ends up cutting your video Short to get your complete message across. You can always shorten your message however it would be fantastic if you could squeeze an extra five seconds making these videos 15 seconds long, which is the sufficient enough to get any message across for those looking to use as a marketing tool.

The app is doing so well keeping consistency and natural videos, even though there are some awkward results, but this is just a step towards a better model, i truly support this project as long as they keep identity theft cleared out and all other psychopathic possibilities of misuse  , Content restriction? Love Sora app as it’s fun to use and like the cameo feature and the privacy controls of your cameo on this app and the ability to delete any video that uses your face even if you didn’t post it! Just one suggestion is please an iPad app soon!! Then I’ll give this app 5 stars!

Is this is the future of AI, then our civilization is doomed. 

But there are also problems beyond the concept. For starters, the app is run by bigots who, unlike what other reviews imply, DO NOT put ENOUGH restrictions - people can easily make videos mocking dead celebrities (which is about 60% of the content) and religious figures (which is more common on this app than you think). It creates conditions for worst of the worst AI-generated garbage possible. 

I’m very disappointed in OpenAI and I will take steps to try to refrain from using their products completely. I liked ChatGPT but, as I said, this new app is absolute garbage.
