## Soundbooth App Reviews in United States

### **--- "Content A+ App no"
I downloaded a season I purchased with the hopes of listening to a complete season for a road trip. Little did I realize you still need to have some semblance of a connection for the app to authorize playback.
This takes away from the whole point of downloads as we were on old country roads with no cell service and I could not play any of my downloaded files.
-- glittered1, 2025-08-19

### **--- "Great Content with Three Problems"
Great books. Here are the issues with the app:

1. Lost progress twice so far on the first book.

2. No detailed listen history you could use to find your place in a book after the progress gets reset.

3. The icon changed from a normal icon to one that’s extremely feminine and people make fun of me for it. I deleted the app over this once and will do so again once I finish this book.

### *---- "I downloaded it"
Spent about 5 minutes and I had no idea what I was looking at or what was going on. This needs a massive overhaul and fast. I came here strictly from listening to dungeon crawler Carl off of audible . It seems like this could have good stuff but it’s very poorly designed which makes it not useable. Please make it more user friendly and much less chaotic. Thanks

### ***** "Great Content!"
Loving the dramatized version of Dungeon Crawler Carl. Looking forward to the next season! And Crysalis is fun too. The narrators/actors are fun. The app does have weird navigation glitches every so often but restarting the app usually fixes things. Overall, slick app :)
-- Kayaks&Bricks, 2025-06-15

### ****- "Now working"
The app must have gone through an update because it is now working for me.
-- Steven37, 2025-06-05

### *---- "App crashes when opening for first time"
I am looking forward to buying a book but after the setup and i tap start exploring... the app crashes. When i try again it just says 'Hang tight -- your next story is on its way!'.... then the app crashes... i've tried uninstall reinstall no dice...
-- cluttered_matter, 2025-06-01

### ***-- "Broken"
Listened to the free sample of DCC and absolutely loved it. Tried to purchase the full album, but the transaction fails every time—it gets stuck on the processing screen. I’ve attempted to buy it using both my Google account and Apple Pay, but neither works. I even deleted and reinstalled the app, but the issue persists. Still can’t complete the purchase.
-- Chad from USA, 2025-05-23

### ***** "Solid app"
Improvements have been quick and love the app.
-- Meddoc84, 2025-05-19

### ***-- "Material is good. App is work in progress."
The app is slow to load. Sometimes it gets stuck and needs a force close before loading. The audio can’t pick back up from pause to play if you navigate away from the app.
-- heresatoasttoreviews, 2025-05-01

### **--- "Can’t get purchases from the old version"
Bought the cinematic audio of dungeon crawler Carl for the old app, but it didn’t seem to carry over. Tried going into settings and it says restore purchases is “coming soon”. Seems like a pretty important feature….

Also doesn’t seem to have any way to login so I can’t even identify my self to the app to help getting DCC back?

What was wrong with the old app exactly?
