## South Carolina WIC Description
The South Carolina WIC Program is a supplemental nutrition program for women, infants and children under age 5.

WIC is a federally funded program that provides healthy supplemental foods and nutrition counseling for pregnant women, new mothers, infants and children under age five. The program has an extraordinary 35-year record of preventing children's health problems and improving their long-term health, growth and development. WIC serves over 9.1 million women, infants and children through over 10,000 clinics nationwide.

The South Carolina WIC Mobile App will give WIC participants the opportunity to view upcoming appointments, view food benefits that have been issued to them in the clinic, scan UPCs while shopping at the store to see if the UPC is a WIC Approved item or not, and provide information on locations of WIC Stores and WIC Clinics across the State of South Carolina.

The goal of the South Carolina WIC Mobile App is to give participants all the information they need at their fingertips to make their shopping experience fun and easy.

## South Carolina WIC Reviews in United States

### ****- "Some things don't check out"
When I scan the app lately it said it's approved the when go to check out it doesn't pay for it. Not sure why. Thanks
-- bp Harris, 2024-11-10

### ***** "Great app!!"
So much easier than having to carry all those papers
-- gaytans, 2024-10-17

### *---- "Constantly crashing"
It always crashes when I need to use it and freezes to where I can’t see what I still need. Absolutely ridiculous.
-- ashermalee, 2024-05-01

### ****- "Functional scanner fixed could be optimized"
Overall, the app is a great resource to utilize when you are in the store checking your benefits, but more importantly, being able to scan and verify that the items are indeed included in the program as store labeling can be incorrect or not available. Not too long ago app update, resolved the camera issues that were occurring for quite some time, so thank you! Overall, the app does the job. the benefits screen gets in the way of current benefits a little bit and could provide a better UX. Overall the app could be a little bit snappier and optimized from a performance standpoint.
-- NKerzman, 2023-11-11

### **--- "UPC scan doesn’t work"
For whatever reason the upc scan doesn’t work - just shows a black screen when trying to use it
-- allisonmariemahn, 2023-10-24

### ***** "App isn’t working"
It’s was perfect until I got a new phone and now don’t recognize my username and password
-- terriW27, 2023-09-20

### *---- "Always something"
First it was that the scanner wouldn’t work.
Now it doesn’t let you sign in/forgot password/create new account to see any of your benefits. So very annoying…
-- l00pdel00pandpull, 2023-09-02

### *---- "Can’t get in"
I entered all of my information to register for an account, and it says it’s invalid information. I triple checked all the numbers. They worked to activate the card and to sign into the Wic Connect website, but the app is still blocking me. I looked all over the Wic website and called the appointment line and the card service line, and nobody can help me. I hope someone can contact me about this problem and get it sorted out!
-- Idjdudlljssd, 2023-06-29

### *---- "horrible"
terrible app has been down for weeks wont even let me log in to see my benefits. Luckily my card works
-- mrs cece 33, 2023-06-05

### *---- "App Keeps Crashing"
It keeps crashing whenever I try to type in my DOB to reset my password.
