However, I have found it quite frustrating that you only get one view of the design which is not helpful if your plot area is anything other than a square or rectangle, also my plot seems to have been inverted. Most gruelling, and reason for low rating, is the fact that I paid for a monthly subscription for the app only to find that if I want anything more than a single exciting picture I need to fork out another £39.99 (why not just call it 40) for a plan but still not really knowing what the whole scheme incorporates. Really frustrating and disappointing. -- TomAmerillo, 2026-09-08 ### ***-- "Very average" Not intuitive, feels like you are on rails, app dated/awkward UI -- Pnchall, 2026-08-29 ### ***** "Great app" Love how designs are realistic. Also the plan and measurements are also accurate which I found impressive. -- Naeem mm, 2026-08-23 ### *---- "Style over substance" Lots of effort put in to measuring space accurately but very superficial design created with ineffective editing. We stated that we were doing the work ourselves but there was no adjustment for this. There is no consideration of shaded areas or sun direction and expose. If you want a pretty picture for a tenner it’s fine but pretty disappointing and not fit for purpose. Usability is also bad to the point of being annoying. Must try harder team! Client experience is everything… -- Swedishbrandmafia, 2026-08-22 ### *---- "Have to subscribe" Once I’d downloaded the app, and after 3 attempts of new codes I was finally in to use it. The next page was to subscribe/pay in order to be able to use it. I assumed the advertising within the app would cover its costs, and it would therefore be free. Seems to be free when you download. I may aswell use ChatGPT which is free! -- Happy Days Summer Days, 2026-08-21 ### *---- "Not recommended. Does half a job." This has so much potential but falls short in a few areas. Firstly, before you commit to a subscription there is readily available information advising what is included, just some vague ‘10 credits’. Spent some time mapping all the borders for my garden. Took multiple photos. My garden design photo at the end showed one small corner. Nothing on the rest of the garden. What is the point of mapping these borders if they are ignored? It added a brick dividing wall to replace my neighbours fence in the background! Utterly stupid and not within the brief. It also added some expensive paving to replace my gravel. I revised the design (beware, you can only do this once!) asking it to replace the pavers with the existing gravel and it added MORE paving. It doesn’t provide a planting scheme or list of plants to buy. At the end of it I’ve paid £10 for a pretty picture of the corner of my garden using materials I specifically asked it to remove. It seems that in order to get it to do anything else I have to pay another £40!!! I cannot recommend this app, ChatGPT will do this quicker and for free and won’t try and con you in the process. -- Scroobiuspip69, 2026-07-30 ### ***** "Incredible! So pleased we found Spacelift" I can’t quite explain how excellent this app is. The quality of the designs it produced from a photo of our garden was far better than I anticipated, and it gave us ideas we simply wouldn’t have come up with on our own, and has saved us so much time procrastinating. Instead of spending hours looking for inspiration and trying to piece together different ideas, we had several well-thought-out concepts to compare within minutes. It made it much easier to picture what our garden could become. The guidance and support you receive with the project pack is phenomenal. It made us feel in control the whole way, whilst laying everything out step by step. We are now on the journey to transforming our garden, and I cannot imagine how much SpaceLift has saved us in time and money, considering what you’d normally pay for professional design input of this quality. I think the subscription offers excellent value. Even if it helps you avoid one costly mistake or gives you the confidence to move forward with a plan, it more than pays for itself. I’ve already recommended it to friends who are planning garden projects, and I’d happily subscribe again. -- Ian D Cornwall, 2026-07-18 ### *---- "Disappointing" I was on the waitlist the. missed a free trial so decided to pay for one month. The app is severely limited in what it allows you do to, eg not able to delete or restart a project, try a different style etc. The only option is to pay more to create new projects. I wish I hadn’t bothered - a very frustrating experience. -- Lkg4803, 2026-07-18 ### ***** "Beautiful and realistic" Amazing to be be able to design something beautiful and be given what I need to actually create it. I’m excited to get started on my garden using the plans from here. -- Maddy H ughes, 2026-06-23 ### ***** "Disaster garden to Hosting Space" We got the keys to our house in December, and after moving in we neglected the space. SpaceLift helped us visualise loads of different ideas and gave us a clear plan for how we could transform the space. We're now bringing those plans to life and the difference is already amazing. We even hosted our first BBQ in the garden this weekend, which felt like a huge milestone! ☀️🍔 Such a brilliant app for helping you see the potential in your garden. Highly recommend ✨ -- Bethan Weston, 2026-06-23 ### ***** "Great app" Really helped me see what I can do with my garden -- Sammyd_29, 2026-06-22 ### ***** "Stylish results" After registering on the waitlist I was thrilled to get to try out the app. It’s generated beautiful designs with realistic images, unlike the images created by other AI apps I have tried. I upgraded to the design package which was incredibly helpful and provided more detailed images and far more information! -- Sophia🎱, 2026-06-20 ### **--- "Wish I could get a refund" App is very glitchy and poorly thought out. Whilst it’s very cool how it measures and maps the space, it does not retain these details, so every time you want to design your space you have to remeasure. In addition it only allows you to edit your design once which is ridiculous since the designs it creates are non-sensical eg it put a fence up across the back of my house blocking all my windows when I had already uploaded my main vantage point. All in all I feel like I’ve been massively ripped off. The concept sounded great, but think you’re better off using a free AI app like ChatGPT to do a better job. -- Anonandon2, 2026-06-19 ### ***** "Stunning garden redesign App" Absolutely impressed! The Spacelift AI Garden Design App transformed my garden ideas into stunning, realistic designs with minutes. I especially loved the diverse style options from Cotswold, classic, Japanese to Urban Chic, plus many more styles. The app is easy to use, incredibly creative, simply pick a style or tell it your own ideas, and it brings it to life. Feels like having a professional landscape designer at your fingertips without the hassle of waiting days for someone to call you back. Highly recommended! -- Steph23-V, 2026-06-19 ### ***** "Real Inspiration for Amateurs" Very good idea, and well executed. And I can see how it will become more and more useful over time. -- Tony P-F, 2026-06-18 ### *---- "Not ready yet" The garden mapping function is great and easy to use. The design function (which is the main one you want) doesn’t work properly yet. You can’t switch between designs without remapping your entire garden again. Bit of a waste of time and money really. But at least they gave me a refund as they acknowledge it’s not working correctly yet. -- ads_r_us, 2026-06-16 ### **--- "Crashes" I wanted to like this but couldn’t get it to run on my iPhone - after installing and opening the app it immediately crashed, so I uninstalled it. Pity. Nice looking interface so giving it a couple of points for design -- finds bdhsjsj dudh, 2026-06-10 ### **--- "Could be so good" I found this such a disappointing experience. I’m not really sure what I got for my money- having paid £30 for three months of the pro version, I have now found out that actually seeing the plans that have been created would cost £40 more!! I have been given a list of links to furniture and accessories I could buy (ummmmm…. Thanks?) but nothing useful like a list of plants! I bought into this because it seemed a much more ethical approach to AI design (since it draws on design from the studio) but this hasn’t delivered anything like value for money. Two stars because it could be good …. But right now it’s really not. -- Calsterrr, 2026-06-07 ### *---- "Waste of money" I paid for a garden design. It crashed half way through. Tried to contact support no reply for days. Waste of money, really disappointed -- Chris 1234@!, 2026-06-06 ### ***** "Saves so much time and money" I have a pretty empty garden and I had no idea what to do with it. I ran my garden through the app using the mapping technology and was really impressed with just that alone! I explored a few different styles and set what I wanted in my garden. The designs are all fantastic! It’s so much better than just using ChatGPT because this actually knows what I want and what my garden can handle. And saves so much money paying a landscaper! -- Masenase, 2026-06-05 [View all Spacelift reviews and detailed analytics on AppTail](https://app.apptail.io/signup?utm_campaign=ai-crawl&utm_content=reviews) ## Spacelift In-App Purchases | Item | Price | |------|-------| | Project Pack | £39.99 | | 3 Garden Designs | £12.99 | | 2 Garden Designs | £10.99 | | 1 AI garden design - 10 credits | £5.99 | | Spacelift Pro - Monthly | £9.99 | | Spacelift Pro - Annual | £89.99 | ## Spacelift Store Rankings | Chart | Country | Category | Rank | |-------|---------|----------|------| | Top Free | Ireland | Lifestyle | #172 | ## Spacelift Available In - [United Kingdom](https://apptail.io/app/spacelift-ai-garden-design-XmIz/united-kingdom) - [Belgium](https://apptail.io/app/spacelift-ai-garden-design-XmIz/belgium) - [Canada](https://apptail.io/app/spacelift-ai-garden-design-XmIz/canada) - [China](https://apptail.io/app/spacelift-ai-garden-design-XmIz/china) - [Cyprus](https://apptail.io/app/spacelift-ai-garden-design-XmIz/cyprus) - [Croatia](https://apptail.io/app/spacelift-ai-garden-design-XmIz/croatia) - [Ireland](https://apptail.io/app/spacelift-ai-garden-design-XmIz/ireland) - [Israel](https://apptail.io/app/spacelift-ai-garden-design-XmIz/israel) - [Iceland](https://apptail.io/app/spacelift-ai-garden-design-XmIz/iceland) - [Luxembourg](https://apptail.io/app/spacelift-ai-garden-design-XmIz/luxembourg) - [New Zealand](https://apptail.io/app/spacelift-ai-garden-design-XmIz/new-zealand) - [Russia](https://apptail.io/app/spacelift-ai-garden-design-XmIz/russia) - [Türkiye](https://apptail.io/app/spacelift-ai-garden-design-XmIz/turkey) - [United States](https://apptail.io/app/spacelift-ai-garden-design-XmIz/united-states) - [Australia](https://apptail.io/app/spacelift-ai-garden-design-XmIz/australia) - [South Africa](https://apptail.io/app/spacelift-ai-garden-design-XmIz/south-africa) --- ## About AppTail [AppTail](https://apptail.io) is a mobile app intelligence platform providing app analytics, ASO (App Store Optimization) tools, keyword tracking, competitor analysis, revenue estimates, and review monitoring for iOS App Store apps.
