This app is a fraud been a member for more than six months. Thought I was paying for monthly membership only to be billed annually been seeking for weeks to cancel my membership only to be billed again so I was double billed for $84 apiece. no contact Customerservice number to reach out to the support email address you get no response. This is a scam that I’m trying to work with my bank to possibly dispute or get. Fraud charges on there as this is a scam. I did not approve any charges and they will not cancel my subscription. I paid, it went through, and it looked like the claims had been submitted. It’s been at least five days and there’s no record that these claims have been filed. The other claims aren’t relevant to me so I deleted them. But every time I go back they are present again. I’m also getting conflicting emails to the same email account. One is asking me to finish my sign-up and when I go on it, it’s like I’m beginning all over again. The other informed me that there are new claims to look at, but when I go on there I actually get into my account, but there’s nothing new. When I press contact support, I am given options but when I press the option I want nothing happens. There doesn’t seem to be a way to contact them via the app. I’m going to try online and see if I can sort this out, but so far my experience with this app has been terrible. My daughter recommended Sparrow to me and she has been able to file claims and has received payouts. She agrees that the app is not good and she rarely uses it. False advertising of the claims you can make to get you to subscribe. I’ve reached out to request a refund, but the process has been frustrating and unclear. Make sure you fully understand what you’re signing up for before entering any payment information. I’ve been a paying Sparrow subscriber for nearly two years and have signed up for multiple settlement claims through the app. Unfortunately, I have never received any settlement payments or financial benefit from any of the claims I enrolled in. One of the reasons I subscribed was Sparrow’s guarantee that if settlement payments during the first year don’t exceed the cost of the subscription, they will refund the difference. Based on my experience, I’ve received $0 in settlement payouts despite paying subscription fees for a long period of time. The app is easy to use, but my overall experience has been disappointing because I haven’t seen any results from the claims I joined. I hope the company reviews my account and honors its guarantee policy. I’d also appreciate clearer communication about claim status, eligibility, and how refund requests are evaluated.
