Have peace of mind on all your bike rides when you connect your Specialized ANGi sensor with the Ride app and enable Live Tracking.
If your ANGi detects a crash event where you’ve likely been knocked unconscious, your emergency contacts will be sent an email or text alert from your phone and notified of your location.
Live Tracking allows your emergency contacts to follow you along during your ride. Simply turn on ride alerts for an emergency contact and the app will automatically notify them when you’ve started a ride.
RIDE RECORDING & POST-RIDE ANALYTICS
Whether you’re training for a race or event, using your bike for commuting or getting around town, or to explore the trails with your friends, you can use the free ride recorder to track all of your bike rides.
The Ride app automatically tracks stats like speed, distance, time riding, and elevation. When you’re done riding, you can view the ride history and analytics tabs to see how your activity is trending.
We offer full integration with Garmin, Wahoo*, and Strava, so it’s extra easy to record rides and share them with your friends.
If you have a heart rate monitor, cadence sensor, or power meter connected to your Garmin or Wahoo device, you can see that data as well.
SPECIALIZED BIKE REGISTRATION AND WARRANTY ACTIVATION
Although you can record a cycling activity on any bike using the Ride app, riders with Specialized bikes can use the app to register their bike and activate its warranty.
COMMUNITY EVENTS & GROUP RIDES
Be on the lookout for community events, bike demos, and more on the community tab in the Ride app’s feed.
If you enjoy riding with others, you can join and create group rides in the Ride app. The group message board lets you communicate with riders who’ve joined the ride and keeps everyone informed.
When you’re looking for a ride to join, you can search for rides based on day, time, type, and distance.
If you want to create a group ride, you can import a route, choose an existing route, or create a route using the route planner.
ROUTE LIBRARY & ROUTE BUILDER
If you need inspiration for your next ride, the Ride app hosts an ever-growing global library of bike routes.
Additionally, we have an easy-to-use route builder tool that is housed on ride.specialized.com.
Once you’re done creating a route, you’ll be able to add it to any group ride that you plan. Riders interested in joining will be able to see a map view of the route, as well as distance, elevation, and whether the route is on road, gravel, or the trails.

I use this app with Strava and my Garmin bike computer, after each ride the data is transferred and recorded doh this app.
I own a few bikes and I have always manually added which bike I’m riding to each recorded ride on the app to keep a log of kms travelled ect on each bike. This has now disappeared and I can no longer find a way to add which bike I rode to each ride. It’s always worked fine until now so I presume you’ve updated the app and removed this feature. Please bring it back?
No longer works with my old phone
Only got this helmet 5 months ago to be safe with Angi after breaking my neck previously, and the app worked great. Now I’m required to update the app and my iPhone is to old to go beyond 12.5.2 (version 13.0 required)
Why can’t my older version app continue to run as now It makes my helmet inactive unless I spend a fortune on a new phone.
Please find a fix for me so I continue to use this app. I just need the old version to continue to work.

Good but not quite perfect
My one complaint is that you can only connect wahoo bike computers and I would like to connect my Garmin, but other than that the app is great
Patchy
Worked fine for awhile and now won’t remember my rides or connect to Strava properly. I’ll stop using it to track rides but I seriously question its ability to contact my emergency people if I do need that to happen. Kind of undermines the whole point of Angi right???
Missing features
Works fine with Angi Helmets. But I think for one of the world leading companies in cycling the application is rather poor when it comes to features:
- I’d expect integration of Apple watches or similar so one can pause rides easier on the go, or in case of a crash with an Angi sensor be able to stop the emergency timer right away. - Rather than having to dig in the hydration pack or similar for the phone.
- As bike setups with suspension settings and tire pressures are available on Specialized webpage, one would think that once you register your bike, this data would be made available at the palm of your hand. This would be great for anyone who is starting out and isn’t as experienced when setting up a bike; or someone who is perhaps lending the bike to a partner or friend and regularly requires to make changes. Further I’d recommend a personal notes section where more experienced riders can organise themselves with records of different bike setups used on different terrain etc.
