Specialized Ride

… that’s about it, 90 percent of the time it is just a spinning loading screen. No Apple Watch support.

How are we supposed to read this. Tiny fonts. You can’t ride a bike with reading glasses on. Supposed to be easy to use but it’s useless if you can’t read it. Just got a reply from the developer asking for more info….!! Small fonts are small fonts on the app…can’t they see that! On/off sides are so tiny. Older people tend to buy electric bikes so why the tiny fonts. We don’t all have 20/20 vision and minuscule finger tips. There is lots of room on app-pages to increase font sizes. When saving ride page I can’t read it. You asked about where my phone is during the ride …why, that’s got nothing to do with small fonts. Any way it’s in a pouch 6 inches away and works well. I do have another concern… the Smart Control stops on its own during the ride and turns off the power feature. So have to go to manual control or reset. I did open settings on the phone for Background App refresh and still it occurred. Otherwise I do like my bike and Specialized have been excellent with a warranty issue. Just enlarge the fonts on the App. Thx

The app has limited functionality given it does not sync to the apple activity app.

Crash sensor and email notifications seem to be working fine but the distance logged is totally wrong. I just did a fat bike ride tonight: Garmin watch shows 13km and Ride App shows 10km. Start and end points pretty well the same and the ride tracks look similar so what gives? I’m pretty sure the Garmin watch is correct on this ride.

So I downloaded this app after buying a helmet with Angi.. the actually angi system works pretty well but in terms of the app.. it won’t connect my account to strava under any circumstance which means I have to take the long way getting my rides from this app and uploaded to my strava and the app also fails to send a ride alert to my emergency contacts when I finish a ride.. I know it’s not a problem with cellular and wifi because it easily sends an email to my contacts when I start but always gives an error when I end ... needs fixing

I am trying to login to this app again after many months. But it seems my account is not there anymore. I am trying to use forgot password, but i did not received anything in my email. I dont know that to do next.

When will this be able to sync with my Apple Watch? Just got helmet with ANGi and realize I must use app to have ANGi. I would like to use my heart rate info and can see that only when watch is syncing!

I use my bike for work/trails and mostly ride alone. I use the app for the angi feature. Angi feature is nice, I like how you can set expected ride time finish.

Apparently Canadian cellphones aren’t able to receive SMS. 🤷‍♂️ At least, that’s what the latest update thinks. Worked fine before.

Like others have mentioned, data takes forever to load after my ride. It’s too bad because I have both my bikes recorded ride history in the app. I wish Specialized would put some effort into making the app little more functional.
