I signed up for a three day trial and afterwards, with no warning, I was charged for a yearly subscription that cost me €149.99. I was never asked whether I wanted to continue with the subscription or whether I wanted to pay for a monthly subscription or a yearly one. If I had been charged monthly, i wouldn’t have cared so much but instead I was charged annually with no choice in the matter whatsoever.
I considered paying for this. But limiting us to ONLY a yearly subscription and not a per month is outrageous. I’m not paying €150 in one go. Too expensive for an app. Charge us €10-€15 per month as monthly payments and I may reconsider. I refuse to pay a yearly fee in one go, I’ll just use Siri for free instead. This is robbery Not only that you don’t even advertise your payment options in appstore discretion. Such a terrible practice.
I think this is personally unexpectable , I went to get the app and everything was fine I picked a character and it said thanks for picking me.But when I go to take a picture of what it should read, the cheek out of this app to say I had to have an iPhone 11 or 7th gen apple iPad 😧 I was shattered ,like huh!!! And not to mention I went to set a reading person because the other guy didn’t work,I wanted to set it to Irish but get this…because I don’t have PREMIUM I CANT LISTEN TO MY OWN CULTURE VOISE !!!!!!And when I came across the add for this it said that “this app is for everyone!” Well I guess not because it doesn't work for me 😤

Hello, The eu customer protection laws are based, among others, on the “fairness principle”. This requires advertisement and contracts to be fair for the end user. In your case I notice the following potential issues in complying with EU laws: 1. The fact you chose the best plan for me (after asking a couple questions) and do not offer at least a number of options and a monthly vs annual type of subscription is likely an illegal commercial practice in the EU, besides is generally questionable in terms of ethics 2. the amount of different plans to choose from, is massive and not neurodiversity friendly at all: it’s listed without details on the app store, that list would KO any neurodiverse people I know including myself Is there an easier way to review the available plans before having to agree to the decision you make for us? PS I really appreciate the dyslexia donation options, but what about ADHD and ASD 🤷🏻♀️
For me, this app is not worth it, I was looking for an interactive tool to help with English lessons, besides not being that type of tool, the app crashes a lot, it is terrible, very expensive and the pages to contact the developers are always unavailable and do not respond to emails. more than 100 euros thrown away!😡
This app is a scam.
It’s way too long, made me Uninstall and find a different app without this long intro experience.
