## Sphero Play Reviews in United States

### *---- "No bb8 support that’s insane!"
Guys are we seriously not going to support our Star Wars droids anymore? Tell me this is a sick joke!? Like why?!!!! So my little guy I just unvaulted brand new from storage thinking it’s ready to rock in just a charge away and I come to find out there is NO app to control it? This can’t be true!? Guys it’s 2025 is this how you treat your customers? This should be illegal!!! How can you just take out money and then decide to take our controls away?! Make it make sense! I’m going to run this by a lawyer this is not right! You don’t get the right to end our enjoyment when we paid over $100 for these droids now they are worthless because you jabonis decided it would be a good idea to delete the control interface of your product like who does that???!!! I’m really frustrated but this is not right!

### ***** "Question"
Does It Work With Sphero BB-8?
-- Pianopickle, 2025-08-29

### *---- "Seems Sphero 2.0 no longer works"
I downloaded this to use a Sphero 2.0 and it fails to maintain a connection to it. Looking online I found Reddit posts from 9 months ago having the same issue, so my cursory explanation is that the update to this app 9 months ago broke support for 2.0/SPRK models.

If you need to use a SPRK or 2.0 model, try the Sphero Edu app instead, as I found that to work. Which then makes me wonder why this app exists at all.
-- Blambam, 2025-08-24

### ***** "Makers please read"
I love this app so much but there should be a thingy to jump because that is soo useful so can you make the mini bot be able to jump pls
-- Miss. Kitten, 2025-08-14

### ***** "My review :P"
You should make more colors for shells from mini like yellow or purple. (Or even rainbow!)
-- Cheepcheep87, 2025-08-14

### ****- "No support for BB eight :("
Overall, seems like a good app just no support from BB-8 anymore
-- ratsmacker_6969, 2025-08-05

### ****- "Lost the case"
It’s great but I lost my case to my sphereo. I don’t know what to do about it but the app is good.
-- Eggdog2, 2025-07-28

### ***** "Soooooooo fun!"
This app is so fun I really enjoy the games!!!
-- how frustrating it is., 2025-07-09

### ***** "Please fix this"
It looks like a good app but my mini won’t connect.
-- Jbone777bone, 2025-07-08

### ****- "Just 1 thing"
It’s amazing and it’s so much fun but I think it would be better if it had a camera because a lot of robots have cameras.
