I have not used it often, but I did this morning when my partner and I sat down to meditate. He loved it and will be downloading it. Fun story to share too, I was reading the Ganesh Puja while brushing my teeth and not over a sink. Too much multi-tasking entered my morning. I had toothpaste spill over my lips and on to my shirt and robe belt. I noted to myself stop multi-tasking. I went to wash it off and it was already gone. Thank you, Ganesh. 😀 Now back to the review, I am an English speaker whom is challenged with any new language and I am a bit hard of hearing. I do better with accents if I can see the lips of the person. Yet with chanting, I can usually find my way into it without seeing the person if I can hear it repeating. I would likely use the chant feature more often if it offered an option to chant with someone that can properly say the words. I like that you can hear someone say the words correctly and the intonation with it, but it would help to hear it in sequence as if sitting amongst others at a temple. I found this app after visiting the Kaua'i Monastery in Hawai'i. Such a peaceful space. I finally got to visit India last year but our trip was cut short due to the need to return to help in England. Before that in Maryland, US, I used to visit Amma's temple and loved the community and to chant along but felt on the outskirts since I didn't understand religious references. This app would have been hugely helpful to me then. I used to have a CD of chanting from the Sierre Mountains retreat center of Parahamansa Yogananda's followers that worked for me which is why I am suggesting for your app upgrade that you include chanting that can continue for those that want to feel amongst others or need to hear it until they learn it. I have learned so much from having friends from around the world. Some of which are orphaned children and their saintly caregivers in a Home in Nepal. I will share this app with them as they enjoy meditating with me and doing yoga and breath work. I am hugely grateful for this amazing gift that you provide to the world as my financial situation is completely upended due to some unwise financial decisions that I made. But I learned a lot and made a ton of amazing friends along the way.
