The app is intuitive to use and is full of neat touches. However, it now pretty much forces you to upgrade to the pro version for any meaningful group expense . Otherwise you have to deal with multiple ads, timeouts, and hard limits to the amount of expenses that you can enter per day.

App tries to coerce you to enter a subscription. Who the heck takes a subscription for an app you use once or twice every year. Really annoying to wait for the timer every time you want to quickly save a cost. This is not the way to convince people.

I feel that this app with the addition of adding a wait time for the max number of transactions make this app more and more unusable. In particular if one member has paid for the subscription. Besides that it is a good app.

I’ve been using Splitwise for years and it has become a household name within my group of friends and colleagues. I totally understand the developers need to make money and they deserve it, because it’s a great app. But something you use maybe 3 or 4 times per year doesn’t warrant a pro version subscription and definitely not for that kind of money. The free version is so crippled now it has become unusable for a night out or a holiday. If you could introduce a one time only paid version for the casual users, that would be great, but it seems you’ve chosen a different path. So sadly after all these years me and my friends are saying goodbye to Splitwise and moving on to another app whose name I won’t mention. Thanks for all the calculations we were too lazy to do ourselves :)

Ridiculous that they make you wait 10 seconds to add expenses. Maybe the developers should accept that their app is not that special

This used to be a great app. The pro version was only needed for complicated things like multi-currency.. But now it has become crippled. A maximum of 4 entries per day, a waiting prompt… time to move on to a spreadsheet or another app. This one is no longer the handy app that it was

De app bundelt verrekeningen niet. Dus iedereen moet aan iedereen iets betalen of is iets verschuldigd. Dat moet beter kunnen zoals in andere soortgelijke apps.

Helaas alleen te gebruiken tot klein aantal regels per dag. Die maandelijkse kosten zijn te gortig voor incidenteel gebruik
