I really loved this app (highly recommended it to all my friends and have used it for years) till I don’t know who decided to implement a 5 transaction/day limit, which now reduced even further to 3 transaction/day limit. Tragic to see such a great app succumb to such monetary measures, maybe it’s really time to let go.
The ads are long, annoying and the limit is ridiculously low. I’ve switched to using another app instead. Goodbye Splitwise, i really liked you.
i get it, they want to monetise this app, but the number of uploads per day are way too limited, poor app for users on group trip and needing to record all expenses on a separate basis at the end of the day - defeating its purpose
Heavy Splitwise user but surely now that you’ve charging a hefty annual fee to access the app, you can at least try to fix a bug that has been present for years where expenses are double-entered if your phone has a sync issue with your server?

Really love this app, have been using it for almost 10 years now to track expenses with friends, trip expenses and also household expenses seamlessly. Recently turned a Pro user as well, just have one feedback - please allow specifying my own exchange rate to convert expenses in a group from one currency to another. When we convert the money before a trip its based on the market rate before the trip, hence it doesn’t make sense to use a rate after the trip to convert expenses to our home currency to settle up. Hopefully Splitwise can implement this simple yet powerful feature to really add value on this otherwise unusable feature.

Maximum 5 expenses a day. Basically unusable unless you pay for the app. Like others said, time to move on.
As with all the other reviews, this app is unusable. You can only key in a hand full of expenses per day which is not realistic. That’s a 1 start. 5 though if we can key in unlimited expenses.
