Sporty's E6B Flight Computer

I recently retired from flying ( but continue to fly under supervision in my later years). The development of technology allowed me to use the U6B on my iPad and phone. What a difference it made with easily accessible functions covering everything needed and useful, and being able to save ones used often. I used it all the time.

Cannot believe that this app won't allow you to convert between JetA1 litres, pounds and kg! Similarly with Avgas conversions and many other conversion types. Incredibly, you can do all of this and much more using a basic calculator app such as PowerOneSE! In fact, PowerOneSE (& I suspect many other calculators) does a better job than Sporty's E6B in almost every calculation.

How about fuel conversions in kilograms & tonnes please.

It has every thing you need for planing your trip,easy to use works well! I like it better than iwizwheel !!

In the past this did not have configurable units, now it does. I use it all the time it's great. Much faster to calculate heading/drift/gs than the old Jeppenson CR-3.

I literally bought this app to save time doing the weight and balance calculations but they are not in this the app. Can I get my money back?

The calculator does what you’d expect, but it’d be nice to have a toggle to see the conversion factors and formulas used for some of the calculations for reference.

Lots of little bugs unfortunately, double check if answers make sense before you fill out your navlog.

The = button on iPhone will scramble negative the number for the first tap, second tap will convert back to a close by number but not original number. I don’t know if it’s the calculation or Sporty’s ground school quiz answers are wrong. I got a different answer (off by 20 feet) when calculating density altitude. I made sure to clear all history and continue to be off of the quiz answers.

I deleted the app and reinstalled it to see if that would help. I enter the data but it produces nothing but zeros on the right side. This is a new issue. I hadn't previously had this issue seen it until about a week ago.
