Everything was great indeed .
This app is so good in many ways, it is convenient, easy to use and their refund policy is top notch and easy to do. I use this app for all my parking needs
This app has enabled us to drive to downtown Toronto with ease of mind. I enjoy using it. It has some room for improvement but keep up the good work ✨
My experience with this is app is really bad. First they gave me a parking spot which was blocked due to the event and I get stuck in that street, wasting time and money! Then after my too many calling they compensate it with “Spothero credit” after atleast 2 weeks, which was completely useless ! I cannot use that amount! There is no real customer supporting!
Booked and when I arrived attendant at Hilton Phoenix had nothing on record and said there was no room. Scam.
I was trying to save time, just pay when you get there and delete this app if you already installed it. I didn’t save any time and could have searched for cheaper parking if it wasn’t for this stupid dishonest app. When I got to the actual parking garage, there was no mention of how to link SpotHero to a ticket which the parking garage instructions state must be placed on the dash after paying at the machine. Spot hero charged $16 which I have been trying to get back and the official parking garage machine charged $40 for the same time. I have been trying to get a refund from spot hero but their policy is no refund after the time starts. I am quite gutted about this scam. I don’t normally write reviews. Anyone know how to give 0 stars or a negative star review?
Complete scam. Paid $28 for parking in the app and then was charged another $10 when leaving the lot. Could have paid $25 for event parking without using Spot Hero. Don’t get scammed by Spot Hero.
Avoid
The SpotHero app made it easy to quickly cancel the parking reservation and refund it. Love the service.
I downloaded the app yesterday, and paid $20.00, plus the service fee, trusting that our parking experience would be better, because downtown Toronto is difficult at the best of times. Add to that the Toronto International Film Festival, a Blue Jays game, plus an Eric Clapton concert, and you can imagine the craziness on the streets. We could not find the parking place, in spite of going around the block several times, and using the photo supplied on the website. It was simply not well marked, if it even existed at all! Finally out of desperation we went into a garage that we figured must be the right place. We did not find out until we were trying to exit after midnight that this was actually 79 Wellington and not 75 Wellington. We ended up having to pay again. This morning I called customer support (in the USA, which has added an international calling charge to my expenses), and received no support, except someone reciting company policy. Ironically, there was absolutely no shortage of parking spaces anyway, so it would not have been necessary to use this “service”. Lesson learned. Never again.
