Sad what happened to SpotHero. It used to be the best way to find parking spots in the city and pay significantly less than the garage charged. Now, they charge the same or more (and tack on convenience fees). I just paid $11 directly to a garage to park overnight in Chicago – SpotHero wanted $19.24 for the same exact booking. Greed is real.

You can never lose using SpotHero!  If for any reason there’s an issue with the parking or the parking cost ends up lower when you arrive at the garage, they will always make sure to make it right. 10 out of 10 customer service in an age where service is the biggest differentiator! As most service goes downhill or resorts to bots, SpotHero has been consistently human!!

I am very disappointed spot hero. I don’t use the app often. I was recently in NYC and needed to use the app. I had a credit on the account and instead of using the credit, I was charged $45 to be on account. When I asked for a refund, because I do not use the app often, I was denied. Very disappointed they are holding my money for a trip/ parking I have no idea when I will take.

Anytime I’m going downtown in Chicago. I pulled this up because the rates on the app are drastically better. I’m talking like five times cheaper sometimes or more like for example this parking lot in downtown Chicago was charging $21 an hour and I was able to use SpotHero and get it for $14 for 3 hours.
