My Manhattan reservation was not honored today because garage was overbooked. This created tremendous stress for me as well as extra expense. Since all garages in area were full, I could get a spot by offering attendant $50 to let me park. I have never used Spot Hero before and will never use them again.

I booked a garage spot for a few hours but when I arrived, the garage used a different payment system and wouldn’t accept my SpotHero reservation. I reached out to SpotHero support but they just say I “accidentally booked the wrong garage.” I double checked again after receiving this message, and it was the right garage.

Beware! I liked this app until their poor directions sent me to the wrong garage in DC. Not only did I have to pay for another garage, it ate up all sorts of time I didn’t have. On top of that a crummy email from them when I complained complete with no refund. I will find another parking service- Spot Hero is hot garbage!

The app showed me the garage next to my GPS location so I picked the one right next to me. Paid via the spot hero APP and then pulled into the garage to park. I took the ticket from the garage and left. When I returned 4 days later the I went to check out and they didn’t have a reservation for me because it was at a garage two blocks away. So I paid an additional $300 to get my car back. Spot Hero would not issue a refund or credit or anything. I will never use this app again. Not to mention the garage charged me less that the app did.

I am so awed by how helpful this app is. I tried another app for this event and it showed all lots full near the Prudential Center. From the ability to select the event not just address of it to the mapping feature, it made planning a breeze. Also LOVE how there are no surprises as you enter your vehicle make and model to determine pricing. Totally made my evening to have this flow so smoothly and efficiently. I usually dislike the logistics of going to big events and/or a city but this app is a game changer for me.

I am giving this two stars because everything worked great until I tried to leave the garage, otherwise it would get one. The machine would not read my QR code, not for me nor for the two attendants that tried. Fortunately, I had my hard copy receipt, so they overrode the machine and let me out. If there was no attendant or I didn’t have my receipt, I guess I would have had to pay the maximum charge to get out. I am unlikely to use the app again.

### ****- "Had a bad experience but customer service came through"
Booked a spot in Chicago. Used the map in the app to locate. I use Google maps, Apple Maps and Waze and was directed to four different location none of which was right. Eventually had to park elsewhere, so we didn’t miss the event. Complained and SpotHero customer service came through with a SpotHero credit, which I know we can use for some stuff next year. It was aggravating at the time, but treated fairly.
