By submitting sightings, photos, and habitat observations, users help scientists better understand where koalas live, how populations are changing, and where conservation action is most needed. Koalas face increasing threats from habitat loss, disease, vehicle strikes, and climate change. Reliable information about where koalas occur is essential for protecting populations and supporting effective conservation planning. Spotted Koala makes it easy for community members, researchers, wildlife carers, and nature enthusiasts to contribute valuable observations. Key Features: Record Koala Sightings: Quickly log koala sightings in the field with GPS location automatically recorded. Upload Photos: Add photos of koalas to help confirm sightings and support research. Capture Important Details: Record useful information such as the number of koalas observed, presence of joeys, and additional notes about behaviour or habitat. Contribute to Citizen Science: Every observation helps build a growing database used to better understand koala distribution and population trends. Simple and Easy to Use: Designed for quick observations in the field so anyone can contribute. Who Can Use Spotted Koala?
