## Spotter Description
AI workout coach for lifters. Form check + lift history. PPL, hypertrophy, strength training.

Spotter is what a workout tracker would be if it actually helped you train smarter — not just recorded what you did.

The AI Coach in Spotter has access to your full training history. Every set, every rep, every weight you've ever logged. Ask it "should I push my squat next session?" and it answers using your actual numbers, not generic textbook advice. Send it a photo of your form mid-set and get specific feedback in 5 seconds. Tell it once about your bad shoulder, hypertrophy goal, or preferred split — it remembers forever.

Built for people who lift seriously and want their tracker to stay out of the way.

WHAT'S IN:
- AI Coach with full context on your training routine and lift history
- Photo form check powered by Claude vision — snap a pic, get specific cues in 5 seconds
- Coach Notes — tell the AI once, it remembers your goals, injuries, preferences
- One-tap set logging with smart weight/rep defaults from your last session
- Custom numpad and swipe gestures — never touch the iOS keyboard mid-workout
- Drag-and-drop exercise reorder mid-workout (squat rack taken? just drag)
- Per-exercise progression charts showing your PRs and volume trends
- Routine builder for any split — PPL, Upper/Lower, Bro, Full Body, custom
- 150+ common exercises tagged by muscle group
- Backdated workouts with two taps (forgot to log yesterday? no problem)
- Session debrief after every workout — what worked, what to push, what to recover
- Local storage — your training data stays on your phone

WHAT'S OUT:
- Streaks, badges, levels, "GREAT JOB!" popups
- Social feeds, leaderboards, public profiles
- Nutrition tracking, cardio, supplements (we only do lifting)
- Ads
- Motivational quotes

WHO IT'S FOR:
Serious lifters training 3-6 days a week. Anyone using Hevy, Strong, or FitNotes who wants the AI Coach layer on top. Hypertrophy focused. Powerlifting. Bodybuilding. PPL, Upper/Lower, Bro, Full Body — any split.

COMMON QUESTIONS:

Q: How is this different from Hevy or Strong?
A: Those apps store your data. Spotter uses it. The AI Coach knows every lift you've done and gives advice grounded in your actual training, not generic programming.

Q: How does the photo form check work?
A: Snap a photo mid-set or right after. Send it to the Coach. Claude's vision model analyzes it and returns specific cues — "hips shooting up early on the deadlift, drive through your heels" — in about 5 seconds.

Q: Does the app work offline?
A: Logging works offline. AI Coach responses require an internet connection.

Q: How is my data used?
A: Local storage on your phone by default. When you use the AI Coach, only what you send is transmitted to Anthropic. No accounts, no tracking, no ads.

Q: Free trial?
A: 7-day free trial, then $7.99/month or $49.99/year. Cancel anytime in Settings. Your history stays viewable even after the trial ends.

Spotter is built by one person — 20 years old & college sophomore. Feedback is direct.
