SprintTimer is a unique sports timer and photo finish app that employs the same techniques as the fully automatic timing equipment (FAT) used at the Olympics. Start the timer and point the camera towards the finish line. The app creates an image where you can scroll to get the time for each competitor with a 0.01 s accuracy*. SprintTimer also includes a motion-activated Video Finish for longer races and a Start Sender for wirelessly controlling SprintTimer from another device.
SprintTimer is used by coaches, teachers, and athletes all over the world for practice and competition in, for example, track & field, cycling, skiing, speed skating, car racing, rowing, kayaking, horses or greyhound racing.

You can manage it from the user settings in iTunes after purchasing it, and you will also be able to cancel the auto-renewing subscription from there.
If you purchase a new SprintTimer Pro subscription during a free trial you will forfeit any free trial remaining from your first subscription.

Sortierung der Ergebnisse seit dem letzten Update Fehlerhaft
Die Sortierung der Aufzeichnungen erfolgt völlig willkürlich ohne Sinn, weder Alphabetisch noch nach Datum und Uhrzeit. Bis zum letzten Update hat alles sehr gut funktioniert, ohne sinnvolle Sortierung ist eine nachträgliche Auswertung fast unmöglich. Nur über Backup base Video ist der letzte Lauf zu finden.
Geniale App - vielseitig einsetzbar
Wir nutzen die App bei unseren Leichtathletik-Wettkämpfen seit einem Jahr. Dadurch konnten wir die Anzahl der Zeitnehmer reduzieren, wir haben genauere, überprüfbare Ergebnisse, unsere Fehlerrate ist geringer und dabei sparen wir auch noch Zeit! Riesenlob an die Entwickler, die sich gut um die App-Pflege kümmern und immer wieder neue Features veröffentlichen. Bereits die Basisfunktionen sind so klasse, dass man die App einfach und trotzdem vielseitig einsetzen kann, die Erweiterungen machen die Anwendung dann professionell... Jeden Cent wert!!!

Toller Support
Hatte ein kleines Problem mit der App beim Auslesen der Videos. Entwickler angeschrieben und umgehend eine Antwort mit Lösung des Problems erhalten. Must have für jeden Sportlehrer!
No Support - Finish Foto useless
Mit meinem alten iPhone 3GS ging noch alles prima. Nun mit iPhone 6 und iPad Air2 ist trotz genauer Beachtung der Hinweise das Zielfoto so unscharf, dass man gar nichts erkennt. Vor fast zwei Monaten um Hilfe gebeten - keine Reaktion!!!!
Tolle App
Diese App ist super. Funktioniert absolut. Die Abweichung der Zeiten, gegenüber einer 5000€ Anlage ist kaum auszumachen. Das für gerade mal 3€. Was will man mehr. Weiter so.
Spitzen App das macht was es soll
Der Sprinttimer wurde bei einem Wettkampf als Bachup-System eingesetzt. Selbst die Experten mit der 15000€ Zielbildkamera waren überrascht und positiv beeindruckt über die Qualität des Zielbilds. Die gemessenen Zeiten waren nahezu identisch mit dem offiziellen Zielbildsystem. Eine Abweichung von max. 0.01 sec. kann getrost als sensationell bezeichnet werden. Zudem ist die Bedienung kinderleicht. Ich werde das System sicher für kleinere Schüler und Vereinsmeisterschaften in Zukunft einsetzen.

If you have a track team, get this app. I’ve been around tracks for fifty years. I’ve never seen anything else so affordable that’s even close. Works wonderfully. Every time.
Not FAT
This is not fully automatic timing and you should not be marketing it as such. Even the photos you are using as your examples are no where near the finish line. This is a joke and those that fall for it are nothing more then the jokers in a deck with no aces.
