Can’t verify all identity and my wife also no support help technical issue just call me to change another pos to use what a rule support

I have been using Square for 10 years. If you watch the Square videos there is a message that the system is simple to set up. This is not the case, the set up is complex. Then you add online ordering; this should be simple but once again it is much more complex than the video shows and this assumes that Square has all the correct updates in place - then you have to use the customer service and whilst they are responsive and know their job it often becomes a case that has to be escalated - refer back to square having the correct updates and videos and correct answers in their FAQ section and this matching (which if often does not) what you are seeing in your dashboard. The outward price of Square looks like reasonable value - then you add Restaurant - then Loyalty - then QR Codes etc and the cost seriously mounts up, and of course little costs like when you have to give a refund to a customer after they have paid, Square does not refund you the card transaction fee and this leaves you feeling somewhat violated considering how much you pay already… I’m not saying its not good, I’m just saying its not as simple and user friendly as Square would make out in their marketing.

I can’t make a sale which this app. I’ve got help and after about 90 minutes of chat I still can not make a sale.

It is really good for new players

I’ve had to make 3 accounts after trying to use this app for a pop up store in a week, wasn’t able to get anything setup without seeing “this isn’t available for your store please continue to dashboard” message. Infuriatingly frustrating to use and navigate for a small business and can’t even sign in with the first account made. I create account and says “this account already exists” I sign in with the right email and password and am seeing “wrong email or password” message therefore deeming this app unusable and full of bugs that make this app useless

Square has never failed me. Always ahead of the curve. Great customer service. They listen to their customers. Let’s party.

I encounter problems with the square reader functioning every second or third weekend. So frustrating, today I didn’t everything including deleting the square app from my phone and two everything and it still didn’t function properly so I had to use apple tap….again.

Got a replacement square reader that was supposed to be better and easier for connecting to this one doesn’t like connecting. Now my phone can’t even find it or it can’t find my phone. I share the square reader with one other person. And we both have to re-login if the other person’s been using it so it is a real pain in the bum. It shouldn’t be this hard. I wouldn’t think especially when they say it’s supposed to be easier better than the old one was but not proving to be true unfortunately

Heavily focused on card payments… No negative product items to issue quick refunds of deposits. Not straight forward and not very clear on how to setup product components of each other. Using now hike pos and it’s cheaper as well.
