## Squares Reviews in United States

### ***** "Easy to set up, impossible to edit"
Ryan the developer has an incredibly quick response to any questions, input and/or feedback. Even though I’m still having minor problems that I could probably fix by just deleting the app and reinstalling it, I’m excitingly waiting for the next update that is supposed to fix my problem. Five stars for a responsive developer.
-- deutschzilla, 2026-02-03

### *---- "Needs work"
App is very glitchy. Can only update total amount paid per player or else you have to delete the square and start over though there’s an “update” option per player. Can’t change the payout amounts once a game has been “created” so there’s no editing allowed even if you haven’t shared the game yet. This is the first time I tried using an app to host squares and this is not a good one.
-- Sarina52, 2026-01-26

### *---- "Does not work!"
Everything is cut off and cumbersome.
-- Stuphatty, 2025-02-10

### *---- "Squares rating"
What a joke. Don’t waste your time on this.
-- Squares rating, 2025-02-08

### **--- "Had to pay twice and still doesn’t work"
You click on a square and it doesn’t show and then it does and then you can’t get rid of it. It doesn’t track who does what without glitch. What a nightmare.
-- The biddie, 2025-02-08

### ***** "Glitchy"
We are trying to host a game and the rules keep changing to gibberish. The buy in keeps changing the amount and people that have selected squares are showing as doubled, even though they only have one or two squares. It shows that they still owe money for two others I tried contacting support and the email is not bouncing back, which is a good sign, but I still have not heard back yet. Now a new symptom appeared and I’m not able to update when people pay.

UPDATE:
So Ryan, the developer got back to me and is working on all these issues. Hopefully they will be resolved shortly. I do really like this app. It is super easy to use.
-- ErikB8675, 2025-02-06

### *---- "Don’t bother"
Nothing to see here… move along… same ur money too!!
-- sguerrera, 2024-08-05

### *---- "Not User Friendly"
A waste of $0.99 - not intuitive at all
-- KPN1965, 2024-02-06

### *---- "DO NOT PURCHASE DOES NOT FUNCTION"
Purchased this app and it does not function correctly. The squares do not display a name. As soon as you touch a square it assigns your name but it doesn’t show which square so you can’t delete it. You can not change the payout per quarter once you set up game and pay the .99. Total SCAM!!! Do not purchase!!! Stay away!!!
-- ItzWorthy, 2023-12-04

### *---- "Crash and burn"
Kept on crashing. Horrible.
-- acinorev83, 2023-02-13

### *---- "Awful"
Do not get this app. It deleted squares multiple times. Worst thing is I had them full and an hour before the SB 3/4 of them were gone.
-- Spinoflores1228, 2023-02-12

### *---- "Lost $.99"
I wish I would have read the reviews first. This is a scam app. It will let you set up, pay and then it crashes once it’s got your money.

Save your dollar. Apple should remove this app.
-- Hashtagchelsea, 2023-02-12

### *---- "App Crashing"
The app has crashed all day long. Needs fixing. Used this app last year and made 2-3 games. Will completely move on if this doesn’t get fixed by end of the week.
-- 835027, 2023-01-27

### *---- "Good idea but not a finished product."
Create pdf’s is buggy- doesn’t close email and sends multiple. The email attachment does not fully render.

Can’t figure quarterly win options besides Q1 through Q4. Meaning, no reverse, plus/minus or divide the pot.
-- Mannym50, 2023-01-06

### **--- "Usage management"
Can not change my account information. Also, can not get information on, how the invites pay and get paid!
-- ihaveadognameddaisymae, 2022-12-28

### *---- "Good idea - Poor execution"
Firstly, the app will not allow corrections or edits. Once you make a change, that’s it. Never got to the point of actually putting it into action because there’s too many other bugs to trust that it will run smoothly.
-- TJ-hates it, 2022-12-22

### *---- "Ditto all the others"
Crashes after setup and just doesn't work. Paid for nothing. Lesson learned. This app should be removed
-- TMatCan, 2022-12-03

### *---- "RIPOFF DOESNT WORK"
And no response from customer service! DO NOT BOTHER
-- Jbandy329556, 2022-11-24

### *---- "App closes out"
It won’t let me pick a certain square that has paid and now when I go to open the app it just closes out. Won’t even let me on anymore. Having same problem before you fixed, it’s closing out again.
-- Supermonkey143, 2022-11-15

### *---- "Horrible"
Need to cancel. No way to cancel. Rip off
-- hatethisaop, 2022-02-15
