SSH Tunnel - это лучший и самый удобный способ управления SSH-туннелями на мобильном устройстве под управлением iOS.

Приложение позволяет вам настроить локальный прокси socks5 с частным туннелем к вашему собственному серверу.

Основные функции и особенности приложения:

- Переадресация локального порта (работает аналогично: «ssh -L 80: intra.example.com: 80 gw.example.com»)
- Динамическая переадресация портов (прокси SOCKS5)
- Пароль, приватный ключ, аутентификация 2FA (OTP)
- Поддерживаемые SSH-ключи: ECDSA, ed25519, RSA, PuTTY.
- Функция проверки отпечатков пальцев Host Key
- Статистика передачи данных подключения
- Экспорт и импорт подключений (iCloud Drive и другие сервисы)
- Защита паролем и идентификацией лица
- Предоставляет локальный URL-адрес для файла автоматической настройки прокси (PAC) (для автоматической настройки прокси-сервера WiFi)

App can’t work in background and so is practically useless.
Author’s claims that this restriction of Apple can’t be bypassed is not true. There are ssh  apps in appstore that successfully work in background for hours.

### ****- "Can't reopen a connection without restarting my iPad"
Whenever a connection closes abruptly, I can't reopen it, because the local port remains busy. On a mac/linux machine the typical workaround is to find the dead connection using `ps aux | grep ssh` and kill the hanging ssh process, but here I have to restart the iPad or wait for the system to kill the process.

Update:

I've raised the score to 4 stars, because this seems to be the only app capable of maintaining an SSH tunnel in the background (almost?) indefinitely, as long as the internet connection is stable. I would've given it 5 starts if it were not for the aforementioned issue.

I had an issue with ed25519 ssh keys so I raised a support request and I was surprised by the outcome:
- acknowledgement time was short 
- resolution option was provided early 
- Dev team stayed in touch for the whole time 
- Dev team fixed the issue and contacted me on another option that was joining beta test program to get fixed build early

I like:
- Socks proxy works in background, I can access corporate sites from Safari, no need to switch to some dedicated browser.
- it provides proxy auto-configuration URL (suitable to paste into WiFi settings).

Could you please support -C (compression) option ?

Use this app for tunneling VNC traffic, works as desired. The only issue is a private key parsing, spent some time before discovered that end line in the end of key file is essential.

Использую для проброса траффика VNC, работает как надо. Единственный момент - это чтение файла с приватным ключом, потратил некоторое время, прежде чем сообразил, что отсутсвие символа конца строки может приводить к ошибке авторизации.
