Stack the States® makes learning about the 50 states fun!  Watch the states actually come to life in this colorful and dynamic game! 

As you learn state capitals, shapes, geographic locations, flags and more, you can actually touch, move and drop the animated states anywhere on the screen. Carefully build a stack of states that reaches the checkered line to win each level.

You earn a random state for every successfully completed level.  All of your states appear on your own personalized map of the United States.  Try to collect all 50!  As you earn more states, you begin to unlock the four free bonus games: Map It, Pile Up, Puzzler and Capital Drop.  Four games in one!

I love this game and play it a lot. Although this game is really awesome and I love the variety of things you can learn about, I would change one thing. I don’t need to know the flags or the landmarks, I only study the capitals. So it would be really cool if there was a feature that was same stacking dynamic but was specific to the states and their capital. Once again love the game, play it every day and love how many game modes there are but would add this one. Thanks for reading and please take my suggestion in to consideration

i genuinely love this game, truly. i’ve been playing since i was five. however, for whatever reason, i still had to rebuy the app. i’m not sure why. even after i downloaded it again, my progress saved—more proof i used to have it.

This app has no adds. It does not require Wi-Fi. I have played so much, I have played all mini games on hard, beating my big sister, and got all the states on 2 accounts. The game is to answer questions about states. Duh. So, I love it, because i was never taught much about states. This game reinforced my knowledge! Now I could tell every state and its capital. I swear, my childhood was playing this game! The map it game is my favorite! I started out, only identifying the locations of a couple states, then quickly only got the top scores, by identifying them all! I highly recommend downloading this app! By the way, if you want to, if you move a state you’re about to drop on top of a state you’ve already placed, sometimes they merge (developers: don’t get rid of this feature!).

I loved playing this game when I was younger. It was my childhood I just download it again and one of the questions was what state has the landmark Hoover dam. I chose Nevada because it is in Nevada but there was also a Arizona. And I know that borders both but it could’ve been Nevada and I should’ve gotten a question right because that is a landmark in Nevada. You have to be in Nevada to even get to the Hoover dam.

Update 6/6/23

Just realized today that my kids were leaving reviews for apps 🤦🏼‍♀️ so I wanted to provide an updated, accurate review of this app. 

I love this app for myself and my kids. I use it to reinforce information I teach them in our homeschool studies. I also use it myself for fun as well. 

The games are fun and being able to adjust the settings to someone’s skills level is very helpful. 

I recommend this app as well as Stack the States 2 and Stack the Countries all the time.
