Used this app for 4 days at Disney World, in the 4 main parks…we are 1st time Disney goers with 2 adults and 2 kids (8 & 4). There’s no way I could imagine doing Disney without using Standby Skipper! Do just a tad bit of research, and your days will go so smooth!

Found this on a planning for Disney video, and Standby Skipper was indispensable on our trip. Easy to use. Auto- queued us into all the rides we wanted. Easy to make changes to schedule. You wil be happy you have this app!

We used a week pass of Skipper for a 3-day ticket to Hollywood Studios, Epcot, and Animal Kingdom. Skipper kept the good times rolling and we knocked out every ride in the park.

I don’t get an invite from within the Disney world app from standby skipper. They might have changed how invites work to QR codes and scanning. Had really high hopes for this.

In short: Standby Skipper means you don’t really have to understand Genie+. You just tell it what rides you want that day and then never think about it again. It will send you notifications when your LLs are booked, and just as though you did it yourself it will be added to your schedule under “My Day”. An absolutely invaluable tool for eliminating the stress and screen time from your vacation. I thought I was out of luck multiple times when the tip board said Genie+ was not available, but Standby Skipper snags the new drops of pass inventory when they mysteriously happen throughout the day. We rode every headliner more than once on our trip! Two tips: 1. either grab your first/highest priority LL yourself right at 7 AM, OR only check off your one most important ride until Standby Skipper snags it for you. 2. If you have a down minute during your day (like waiting for food to be ready), do scan your tip board and be sure that all of the rides you have searches running for have long enough standby lines to make it worth using a LL on. A few times I caught unusually short standby times and then canceled that search on Standby Skipper, leaving it to search only for passes for the rides with the highest standby times.

Used Standby Skipper whilst on a three-day Disney trip and it worked perfectly with Genie+, for example for Hollywood Studios I'd buy the Genie Plus at 12am, head to standby skipper and put my preferences (such as Slinky Dog for the afternoon) and by morning I had a hard to get reservation done for me! Also when we went to EPCOT, Frozen was sold out all day but Standby managed to grab us a reservation an hour or so after our last tap-in! Overall no complaints and the app worked well, one thing to note is that if you're someone like me who only wants to do rides nearby and close together, I'd also stay on the Disney app as sometimes it will make a reservation for past searches. For example, at Animal Kingdom I was in Dino Land and it booked the Navi ride before DINOSAUR so I had to go in the Disney experience, cancel, and have a standby search for a closer ride. Not really the app's fault but something to be mindful of. DEFINITELY worth the money if you enjoy getting your money's worth for Genie Plus! :D

This app removes nearly all the stress of waking up early on vacation. However, I would love the option to select more specific times for booking Lightning Lanes. For example, if I want to get to a park around 10 am, I would love the option to select “Book this experience at 10 am.” Currently, the options for time windows are very broad - while this is great for “casting a wide net,” it’s not great that I need to modify my first LL of the day right when I wake up. Just a thought. Otherwise, I absolutely adore this app!

I studied for months about genie + for our first time visit, but found out about you right before we went. This app is good if you haven’t been to Disney or used Genie+, but otherwise it isn’t really worth the money. It doesn’t take into account where you are, it just grabs the first available LL so you will end up running all over the park. We ended up canceling most of the reservations the app made, because there were closer ones nearby. Also didn’t take into account that we had a dining reservation and kept booking rides over that time. Only used it for half of our first day and didn’t use it the rest of the trip. Great idea but needs more customization to plan your day better.

Haven’t been to Disney in about 25 years. Just a little different these days. Went last week with our 7&9 year old boys for the kids spring break. Parks were very crowded but with a little research, getting to the parks early and using your wonderful app, we got on all rides (multiple times at the kids request) without waiting on many lines at all. Game changer for getting the genie+ picks that you want, when you want. Thanks again for helping us create wonderful memories for the family!
