Slow moving game. Fun, but a test of patience. Some features require waiting a day and a half. Want to serve a pie? Wait one and a half hours in real time for it to finish being cooked, after waiting almost an hour for the apples to finish growing, after waiting an hour for the well to produce enough water for the apple trees to grow. Slow, slow, slow. And the one or two time boosters only help for an hour or so, but it will take several days to collect more.

I paid for a month pass for an event. Unfortunately with two weeks left the game is glitched. It wants to force me to do a tutorial for a new area but I did something out of order. Now I can’t tap anything because I already ready placed what they wanted. I tried to uninstall but I’m still forced into this tutorial with no way to exit besides force closing. I also have no clue how to ask for help since I’m locked out of all menus.

I used to love playing this game. Buying appliances and making dishes were so much simpler. Now with all the changes, it’s like another version of Township. I no longer buy eggs and chicken, etc in the store, now I have to rear them. Not only that, the upgrade doesn’t give you more space and tools to build all those new buildings. It becomes tedious. The game is no longer fit for purpose and I miss the old Star Chef 2.
