Starbucks has revamped the loyalty program to the point it is basically unusable. You have to prepay money in order to get reward points now, and it’s super unclear how to get free drinks (“500 stars”?? ) terrible

This app although nice looking. Is not very good in term of actual usability. I wish I could just pay directly off Apple Pay rather than having to load the card and not be able to just cover the specific I want to buy at that time. Seems like money would just be trapped on this app and not be able to be used. I’m having to get the store to load the specific amount on the card so then I can still actually benefit with the points system. Seems like a bit of a money making scheme to me rather than a membership bonus for being a consistent client.
Unable to place an order. Even though credit card has already been added, the card doesn’t show up under Payment Method

Have tried in multiple locations. Let’s me add items but never lets me pay - even though my credit card details are logged. It just doesn’t do anything when you try to checkout. Very frustrating!
I never get notifications from the app. All settings are turned on but I still never receive them. Turns out I missed out on a reward loaded to my account two months ago for buy one get one free.
Please fix the app! Can’t log in, change password or even create new account. Tried on iPhone 13 Pro Max & iPhone 15pro max. Issue is driving me nuts.
Over the last few months the App just hangs and treats you like a brand new member which means you cannot access your funds or rewards. It is getting really embarrassing arriving to Starbucks and not being able to access my funds or rewards. I use an iPhone 15 pro and my wife uses an iPhone 11. Same issue. Please please fix this issue as my funds are inaccessible and therefore now having to use Mastercard instead.
The most waste of time app & rewards program EVER been created. With plenty coffee shops around stop visiting that establishment for good
Great app, works how it should, but it won’t let me log in on my iPhone (it’s a new one so I assume it would’ve been fine), hope this can get fixed at some point
