I love being a Starbucks member, the rewards are great but I struggle every single time I want to load credit. It’s slow, glitchy and usually only works on the 3rd try. It’s frustrating, please see if this can be improved. Apple wallet or snapscan or something.

If the app requires an update and you have loaded funds in your virtual card, best not update it. 
Naive me updated it and I could not log in for more than 3 months. Zero service from Starbucks SA head office (Rand Capital Coffee & customer service email) despite numerous emails asking for assistance. 

Eventually after my login issue was resolved, all my funds had been wiped out. Now they’re ignoring my plea to return my funds. PATHETIC.

Even after trying to sign in and say forgot password, it doesn't send the email for verification to reset password.

I have tried adding 2 credit cards on more than one occasion and different times. Each time the app is happy to take the R10 but then the process fails, asking you to retry. I think I will give up and stick to Vida coffee in future - their app just works.
