If the app requires a sign in to use Drive Safe & Save then having to sign in every few minutes makes this app a pain in the wahzoo.
After pay for 6 months again they send $217 bill and again $36 it’s unbelievable
The app hasn’t worked in several months now. What is going on with it?
Wife got into an accident (not her fault!) a year ago and I’ve been paying almost an extra $100 a month since they paid me out for the total loss. I’ve been getting taxed so they can get the money back from me that they paid me and the other parties involved! Never have I had a company do this and I’m thinking about legal action!!
Everyone seems to be encouraging to do half payments to make budgeting easier. Is there something I’m not seeing or is it not a part of the app?
I can see why people like to insure through State Farm, they go above and beyond “protecting” their clients, unfortunately this comes at the expense of the people their reckless and criminal clients affect. I was hit by the road rager who brandished a firearm during our insurance exchange; after sitting on the claim for 2 months, State Farm concluded after a one day investigation that I was somehow at fault for the accident. Absolutely absurd investigation standard, no due diligence is done whatsoever. Terrible company, was a customer to SF before but will never give my money to them after the disregard they’ve shown, they don’t deserve any decent person’s business.
Takes you through steps you’ve already done, doesn’t check. This week it required my odometer reading, even though I sent it just a couple weeks ago. Now, the biggest frustration, it keeps telling me Bluetooth is required to communicate with the app. This has happened several times since I switched to the combined app. I’m sick of my car insurance trying to gain information from me when I’m not driving. I drive very rarely. I use Bluetooth only for this app. I turn off Bluetooth at other times. This app is closed, I have restarted multiple times. Why does it keep launching itself and trying to locate my car??? Cause guess what, where my car is located is absolutely none of State Farm’s business unless I am driving. Let me be clear, I am happy with my insurance, my agent, and the office. My ONLY issue is with the app and its repeated attempts to track me. Back off!
With Drive Safe & Save, I get penalized for stopping at a yellow light, while otherwise driving safe and at the speed limit. Would you like me to speed through the yellow light? The Drive Safe & Safe program ironically promotes some dangerous driving habits because the driving metrics are far too sensitive.
