Why is this a separate app?
Why do I need to download a separate app to use steam chat? This should be part of the main steam app.

The best way to serve your customer is to make their life easier not harder… nice company 👍

Bad decision to make this a separate app from the main Steam app itself.

Put in my credentials and kept getting a “failed to connect to steam” error. Uninstalled right away. 👎🏽

Notifications are borked
No sound, no notification count, despite all options activated in the settings and in the app. Sometimes, no notifications at all. Turned notifications off and on in the settings and in the app, rebooted, and all combinations of the above. Nothing changes. Completely useless for a chat app. Please fix.
Why T•F make two apps?
Chat in the old app is basically non functional right now after this stupid app is out

Can’t even log in even though I’m logged in the main steam app

this app is basically unusable right now. messages just not loading in is *frequent*. Along with bug fixes, I would also like to see multiple account support (or just merge this app back into the steam app!!)
