I give steam a 2 star because i am not able to go into steam on phone and i have made a mobile authentication and i am not able to authenticate that its me since i can’t go into the app

Garbage app. I cannot add number. Lot of bugs are there. Why you published this app without testing?

I have tried to create an account, i inert my country of residence and it won’t allow me because im traveling and it says i should not use steam with a vpn. However if i create an account with the country where i find myself than it wont allow me to pay with my payment method because its not the same country of residence. Its just absurd

I hawe used this app for Authenticator for years now But for some reason now it wont oppen app I Can contact support by locking in in appstore takling u to steam webpage where u Then need the Authenticator to log in to reporter Bug Not even funny

TL;DR (Too Long, Didn't Read) For the most part, it should work just fine for most people. BUT, a bunch of stuff on the app feels like it was just lazily ported over to the phone version without checking it. It can be slow at times for seemingly no reason. Sometimes you need to turn your phone to landscape mode to access features. I'd say it's 3.5/5 stars but rounding up to 4 stars since 3 stars feels too low. Rant about the app: For the most part, it works just fine but there are some things that can be annoying. Things such as: - Weirdly slow at seemingly random times. Example: most of the time taking a second to load a page but going back to a previous page can take anywhere from the usual second or two, to 4-8 seconds or higher to load a webpage that I was on just moments ago. - Changing some of your app settings, requires that you turn your phone on the side to access the radio buttons. They are not visible when in vertical mode on my iPhone 13. Things such as: - Mature Content Filtering - Store Content preferences - Live broadcasts - Feedback preferences - Operating Systems - Search options -etc Also adding titles to your "Ignored" list can be hard because of how unresponsive and laggy the button can be. But that applies to a lot more stuff aswell. There's usually a few seconds of delay on nearly all the buttons in the app. The app's design: Okay, this is maybe nitpicking it a little but WHY do we need seperate buttons in the bottom for "News" and "Notifications" if they're already grouped up inside the Menu button in the bottom right!? Why not use that space for buttons in the bottom for Friend Activity (Or cart?) and the other can be Library, Profile, Friends or account settings. And then move the duplicate buttons to the menu where they already exist?? Idk man, it just feels like stuff was added without proper thought on what impact there would be and if other things could be improved so you wouldn't need to add anything more. Cart: Roll your dice if your experience is gonna be just "okay at best" or "slow as molasses at worst". That's genuinely what it feels like. Steam Guard: Just about the only thing that is consistent about this app. It's pretty good and fast. :)

unfortunately got hacked the other day, the hacker managed to sell most of my skins and buy some dota crap. i have steam guard on my phone. I tried to reach out to steam support, but unfortunately they support their hacker's case as they don't want to touch the community market as they think you can't touch their wallet, they can see the Russian ip it was done from. take care of your stuff steam guard is NOT safe

Wasting precious time on logging in instead of playing. Steam is useless.
