Stekker is an app that helps you to use electricity when it’s at its cheapest and cleanest. So you don’t have to worry about when the sun shines, when it’s smartest to charge your EV, or when you have to run your laundry and save the planet at the same time. By connecting the Stekker app to your EV, charging point or smart home, we make sure that your devices only use electricity during moments when it’s cheap, like when there is abundant sunshine or strong wind.

All you need to do is install the app, pick a time at which you need the car or device to be ready, and Stekker will monitor your setup, the grid, the weather and electricity prices to choose the smartest moments to use electricity.

Stekker is free for non-commercial users and can currently be used to charge your EV smartly. It connects to your charge point and is also compatible with numerous electric cars for additional functionality, like Tesla, Hyundai, Kia and Volkswagen.
