## Steptide Description
Steptide is a step counter built around one idea: your friends are watching the leaderboard.

It reads your steps from Apple Health, drops them into a daily leaderboard, and gets out of the way. No calorie diaries. No sleep graphs. No fourteen different metrics fighting for your attention.

Every day is a fresh race. Steps reset at midnight, the board reshuffles, and yesterday's leader has to earn it again.

Create a group for your family, your office, or your group chat. Share a 6-character code to invite. Watch the rankings update as everyone moves through their day. Switch between today, this week, this month, and all-time.

Earn milestones for streaks, distance covered, and personal bests. Track your progress without the streak guilt that makes you delete the app a month in.

Steptide is quiet by design. No spam. No notifications begging you to come back. It opens when you open it.

Groups are invite-only. There's no public discovery, no social feed, no friend graph. Only members of your group can see your daily totals.
