## Ster Description
The words “Movies” and “Cinema” are synonymous with Ster-Kinekor. Experience great movie entertainment for your family on three experiential cinema platforms - Cine Prestige, IMAX and SK commercial. Ster-Kinekor pioneered cinema concepts such as Cinema Nouveau, one of the world’s largest dedicated art-house multiplex circuits, and the luxurious Cine Prestige theatres, the first ‘business class’ cinema experience in South Africa.




This app allows you to book a ticket to experience your favourite movies on the different cinema experiences, by selecting a movie, cinema or show type.

I’ve downloaded the new version of the app and when I try to sign in, it prompts me to reset my password. It sent me the reset link but when I click on it, i get stuck on the initial home page and it actually doesn’t do anything.

Have been having issues from the time they changed the app. Have logged a request for assistance but no response. Go to their kiosk and they can’t help. It keeps looping between my password or username is wrong. Then request to reset my password, sends an email and then when you click to reset password, it takes you back to the sign up page. If you try to recreate yourself as a user, it says you already exist and that’s it.

I created an account and activated it, I can log in on the website, but when I try logging in on the app, it says I am using a wrong password.

Steps taken: copied the password and pasted in website login
Result: I logged in
I pasted the same clipboard into the app.
Result: I said the password is incorrect.

Another note. If I try change password from the app, I get an email. Then clicking on the reset password link, it takes me to the app and nothing happens.

The app looks like it would be good, but from these issues, I got frustrated and deleted the app

It has been weeks since I’ve been able to see my closest cinemas or any cinemas in the province for that matter at lead me to wonder is there even a day of team that is looking at the various complaints that this app and website have been receiving? I highly doubt it because I saw another review with one star from over two months ago of someone complaining about the same thing and the team said that they were working on it and expected to happen shortly.
