Stessa: Smart Rental Manager

Applicants cannot invite co-applicants using a mobile device because the website and app are broken on mobile. There is no longer support. There is no one to call and the chat is automated. Avoid this service at all cost. I had to switch to Zillow rental manager to process my tenants application.

Besides the poor communication, they hold up rent deposit from my Tennent’s for over 10 days! This is damaging my business and making it difficult on my financial

It used to be great now as a paid pro subscription member you have to wait a month to ask a question in person or deal with a bot . Moving my account elsewhere

I have been using this app to manage 4 rental properties for a long time now and STESSA has proven to be very usefu; support, when necessary, is always prompt.

I really enjoyed Stessa. After trying it out, I purchased the highest plan they offer and opened 4 bank accounts through Stessa cash management. Things got out of control after I went to my personal bank accounts and initiated external account setup to link to Stessa. I have 2 personal bank accounts and 4 Stessa bank account, so I requested to create 8 links. The next morning I woke up and saw a message from a Stessa representative asking me to explain the suspicious activity on my account. I replied to the email with a request to clarify if there any agreement limitations that limit or forbid linking bank accounts. After a few hour I got a shocking email. I couldn’t believe it. They terminated my account and disabled access to the app without any explanation or warning!!! I lost all my data, months of receipts and expenses, a few thousand dollars, the pro subscription that I paid for, and an insane amount of time. At first I thought this was a simple misunderstanding since nothing illegal or suspicious was done with the accounts. I have also confirmed with my personal banks that my actions were considered perfectly normal account operations. I made many attempts to reach out to them by phone, chat, and email to resolve this. All of my attempts were unanswered. It feels like they just disappeared. I had a call with them scheduled prior this event, but no one called at the specified time. They reserve the right to terminate any account if terms of service are violated. I have read the terms of service and there was no violation on my side. This behavior is unacceptable in the business world. I don’t know how they are allowed to treat customers like this. You’ve been warned! If they can do this to me, they can do it to anyone. Your data with them is not safe. I have permanently lost digital records. Now I can’t take those deductions when the tax time comes around. My last option is to consult a legal representative for the unjustified account termination.

It keeps signing me out and then I have to log into Googleike a new device even tho I use Google log in all my other apps and it finds my logged account. I'll update my review once this is fixed because stessa is a otherwise a great app

I had to part ways with my property management company and needed a good solution to collect rent and invoice my tenant quickly. I signed up with Stessa after reading the great reviews. My tenant (who at the time was already late on the rent) submitted an ACH payment to Stessa, only to mark it as fraud at her bank (giving her another 7 days to live in my property rent free). Why it took Stessa over a week to notify me of the failed payment, I have no idea. Once Stessa notified me that the payment was returned, I was also notified that I would be unable to use their application any longer. Essentially I am penalized due to my tenants misuse of their software, and the tone of the email response was so cut throat it felt like an insinuation that I made an attempt to misuse the Stessa app myself. All in all it was a poor experience and even worse customer service. I know my experience is not typical, but for those of you who may have tenants that are not the most responsible, I would suggest using a different application.

I login with Facebook, but lately the Facebook login is not working, so not I can’t access the rental income, to push it to my bank and therefore cannot pay bills! Very anxiety-inducing that I contacted Stessa Support over a week ago and still have not heard back!!
