I do not recommend their services" I had a very frustrating experience with this bank and unfortunately would not recommend it, especially if you require a functional international/diaspora banking solution. From the beginning, the account setup and usage were not smooth. I experienced multiple failed international transfers, which had to be processed more than once. Each time, fees were charged and when funds were returned, they were not refunded in full resulting in significant financial loss on my side. There was little transparency around these charges. The account itself has very limited functionality. Despite being issued with a Visa debit card, I was unable to use it on basic, widely accepted platforms such as Apple Pay, and SnapScan. This made it impossible to carry out normal day-to-day transactions. On top of that, international debit orders are not supported, which means you cannot use the account for subscriptions or recurring payments outside Zimbabwe. One of the biggest challenges is that transfers have to be processed manually through forms. This means every payment requires paperwork, approvals, and waiting periods plus huge commission charges to have this processed. There is no real-time control over your own funds, which defeats the purpose of modern banking especially for a diaspora account. Communication from the bank was polite, but often did not fully address the core issues. Responses tended to create more questions than solutions, and key concerns particularly around fees and failed transactions were not properly resolved. Overall, the experience felt like I was navigating a system that is not yet fully functional, rather than dealing with an established, seamless banking service. While I appreciate the efforts of the staff who tried to assist, the underlying systems and processes need significant improvement. I would strongly caution anyone considering this bank to fully understand its limitations before opening an account.
