"What makes Sticky Widgets great is the simplicity of the experience." - Ryan Christoffel, MacStories
"This is a great concept." - Dave Mark, The Loop
Welcome to Sticky Widgets, the absolute easiest way to put a sticky note on your home screen and edit it quickly. Add as many Sticky Widgets as you'd like, in every widget size. It's simple! It works on iPad! You can now even pin notes to your Lock Screen so they're visible even when your phone is locked!
1. Add a Sticky Widget to your home screen
2. Tap on the widget to edit it
3. That's about it!
But that's not all. Once you have a widget in place, you can customize it: change color, background, font, alignment, size, even rotation! And your widgets now sync to your iCloud account, meaning you can put a note on multiple devices logged into the same Apple ID and they'll stay in sync.
Sticky Widgets supports deep system integration with Siri, Shortcuts, the Dynamic Island, and more so there are even more ways to view and update your notes and lists.

Excellent Widget
I primary use this app for it’s widget feature and lock screen pin. I noticed the setting for background app refresh is disabled and unavailable to toggle. I use the app with shortcuts to create and edit notes via speech to text. I was hoping it would be able to quickly update the note content once my shortcut is used. However, my widgets will not update until the app is opened again. I would love this feature to be added to complete it’s widget functionality. Overall, excellent note taking app, continuous upkeep, easy to use.
App lacky right now
Tends to come up slow when touching a note use to didn’t do that
Keep looking
This was a great app until they “improved” it. Originally it was just a simple place to add reminders. That was all I needed and wanted. Now its got all kinds of unnecessary bells and whistles. We had a saying at my job; If it ain’t broke don’t fix it! It wasn’t broke.
Excellent post it
Excellent post it note for iPhone screen - daily reminders
Very helpful! But go blank a lot
Update 6/21/24 - needs to be updated or something. Lags, it’s asked for my review with the 5 stars, and because it was so laggy, I couldn’t even get out of that
Update: some bugs have been fixed, that’s good. But when you begin to type in an already existing “note” you’ll start typing at the top and then it automatically jumps to the bottom of the note to the end of the sentence This is a great thing to have, except if you’re phone gets turned off and back on, some sticky notes go blank
Sticky Notes!!!
My ADHD brain loves sticky notes and having a digital version of my random brain dumps and reminders is awesome! Especially being able to make the notes into widgets! My only gripe is that the sticky note background color I choose is only visible when I have the note opened. Maybe I’m missing something since the screenshots on the app page show all the wonderful color schemes available.
Edit: not sure what I did besides double-check the app was up to date and power-cycle my phone, but now the different notes show their proper colors!
Doesn't change color of background and text which I edited.
Bought the app for the customization options, saddening to see such an annoying bug.
Would rate higher but…
I love everything about this except I am not promoted to get to the upgrade page to access more features! All I want ever see is the page that tells me about all the great features but I can’t actually get to where I can purchase said features! Make it make sense please!
Best notes app
Easiest, quickest access with best options for widgets. I dare you to try to forget something with this app. It’s as good as an actual sticky note plopped on top of your sandwich bag by your mom so you don’t forget to tell your teacher happy birthday.
