Design your own chart for your craft project!
StitchSketch was developed by a creator of the popular software program "KG-Chart for Cross Stitch".
This mobile version utilizes intuitive "touch" user interface of mobile devices.

Features includes:

- Design your own chart for craft works such as:
  Cross Stitch (Crossstitch), Bead Weaving, Iron Beads (Perler(R) Beads), Knitting pattern, Color Knitting, Pixel Art, and more!
- This is also suited for drawing "dotted" pictures (Pixel Art), such as icons in low resolution
- Convert your photo into a chart
- Draw chart with a symbol in a cell
- Maximum chart size is 250 x 250
- Pixel & Vector Drawing (Backstitch, Fractional Stitch, Hardanger)
- Pinch to zoom
- Generic color palette and Color Charts (palette) for: DMC(R), DFT, COSMO, Delica, Toho Best, Perler(R) Beads
- Knitting Symbols (Amizu Kigou (JIS)) for designing knitting pattern
- Rectangular cell size
- Real view to simulate finished image
- Undo / Redo 
- Drawing tools: Pencil, Rectangle, Ellipse, Flood Fill, Text

### ****- "Pretty solid pattern app for iOS"
Been using this to create some cross stitch patterns as I prefer to sit on the couch with my iPad. This has been pretty good for a mobile app and I’ve managed to create a few designs that I quite like.

It could do with a few tweaks to help with usability such as being able to rearrange your palette/thread colours as it gets messy very quickly.

The backstitch function is not the easiest thing to use. It’s quite buggy and it’s hard to select the lines and move or edit them. A more simple tool to click and drag the backstitch rather than trying to select it with a marquee as it often chooses the wrong stitch.

I would love to see the ability to create 3/4 stitches! 

Overall I’m pretty happy with it esp for the price.

I like the way the colours are mapped and any individual colour can easily be changed across the whole chart. I wanted to be able to set the height/width ratio and this is easily done. In addition you can set the gauge. Once I invested some time in doing a YouTube tutorial I found it simple to use. Only downloaded it today and looking forward to exploring more of its functions.

I've tried some free apps, and a $3 app, and this one is so much better for what I want to do - draw or modify small cross stitch patterns. I can easily draw and make changes, picking from a full range of colour options. I can also undo/redo, copy/paste, change the size of the canvas, save, and name the files. It also has zoom in and out. It's easy to use and does just what I want.

I don’t always enjoy sitting at my desk so this app is ideal for when you want to create elsewhere in the house or when out and about. I removed one star because even with Apple Pencil the buttons sometimes don’t work (Specifically when choosing colours) and it takes longer to do what you want. It takes time to wrap your head around the interface, especially when you’re used to using different programs for pattern making but it’s worth it when you get to grips with it.

I'm impressed that the app automatically allocates colours from known brands and the charts are great. Once a PDF has been created, how can I access it, other than creating a new one each time?
