### *---- "As greedy as the others"
I’m unsure why the top reviews for this app hail it as some sort of shining example of consumer-friendly monetization when it is truly just like the rest of the games on the App Store at the moment. What you have is an extremely linear “RPG” that requires little to no conscious thought, and offers even less in terms of gameplay and build expression. By the end of your first hour on the game, it will be giving you advertisements and pop-ups for “Limited Time equipment” which is just Pay-to-Win gear that will progress you through the story much quicker than otherwise. The grind of the game quickly became a slog, the story wasn’t interesting or fleshed out, and the equipment and build aspect is shallow and linear. It’s another Monetization System with a game attached.

So, in other words, this game is no different than the thousands of “idle” games out there. I have no clue why it gets critical acclaim from the top reviews when it suffers from the very faults that they quote as being issues in other games.

The game is super fun and stands out among the slop that floods the app store these days, i do with the crafting booklet saved potion recipes once you make them tho since theres so much variety i can’t remember what each ingredient combo does

So the entire game is really well made and done, but wheres the end of the story? the reason the cult sings the chant? the meaning behind acropolis? wheres the extra story, dysangelos background, and whats up with the stream of the silent? like seriously, you cant just add this in and expect for nobody to notice! Otherwise, fantastic game, but please update sometime soon

This game is outright amazing, its art style is so fresh and never seen before. The game only has optional ads that aren’t constantly shoved in your face, and the only micro transactions I’ve seen are for items manageable for F2P players too, like chests or weapons. This game is great and I can’t recommend it more.

Just got this today and am in LOVE with this game. It reminds me a bit of “A Dark Room” which I also fell in love with back in the day but,,, this is free. Ads are optional and there for getting better/more items from chests occasionally. Overall the gameplay is pretty great though i agree with the crafting and sorting critiques I’ve seen wholeheartedly. Hopefully that gets fixed in the future. Good job, devs!

Update: beat the story driven portion of the game then essentially it’s just grinding which,,, is not really fun. unless you want to learn a coding language and basically show up to craft and change strategies (basically being a manager to the game) then i would say that’s the point to jump off the train
