But the health being 10 is terrible. It should go up with what lvl you are or be way higher. If you or the enemy gets a good/bad start then it’s boring. As there are multiple troops where you can have over 12 as a lvl 1. So with the health being at 10 it’s very easy. Other than the health being very low it’s a very fun game if you or the enemy doesn’t get ahead automatically from the first 2 moves. -- Mr. Awesome7, 2025-01-01 ### *---- "Update ruined my progress" I was having fun month to month with the game until the update decreased the value of my hard earned cards over time and now I’m not moving up in the ranks after spending years on the game so what is a lvl 4 card in my deck with the new seasons I get handicapped for other bronze players to make it competitive and I should easily be able to move back to where I left off, if people are complaining about it being too hard or unevenly matched then they should start paying for cards or spending time on the game but I guess the loyal game players are gonna just get handicapped instead… game needs to go back to what each player has earned instead of generalizing ranks based on bronze or silver etc if not I unfortunately will spend my time playing other things -- McCoigReviews, 2024-12-29 ### **--- "Op cards. Never purchase anything in this game, customer support are very very poor, no one really cares about the players, they just keep selling those items. -- Stormbound is a lier, 2024-12-12 ### **--- "Micro transactions" Would have been a 5 star game if it was not micro transaction prioritized. I get that many other games are these days but the balancing for new players is so demanding. For the first hour you’re swimming in resources during the warm up faze. You will use these resources to unlock powerful units. One issue though… these are not upgraded. When you reach iron league you will loose time and time again. Since winning is the only way to earn money, and money is the only way to upgrade units, you will always seem one step behind. It takes 100 coins to unlock 3 new cards. Yet you will only make 10 coins per win unless you watch ads which will give you 20 per win. Again when you go to the store they show you prices from $4 to $100. This is not a beginner friendly game and encourages you to loose so you can give into spending money. This dynamic is not new player friendly. Progression suffers. The game would instantly become better if you raised the winnings to 35 coins or to even 40. I love deck builders!! The cards are balanced and are always being balanced each patch. I think the difference factions are really cool and allows for infinite amount of strategies. It does take some time to get your cards upgraded to levels 4 and 5, but 5 is maxed out and deserves some work. It is way easier to get cards and resources if you pay the premium membership. It’s 8 dollars at first and then 5 dollars every following month. If you get on to grab the daily resources, the membership is SO worth it and pays for itself in just 1 week. I paid for 4 months worth and have no regrets, but no longer needed the resource boost. All the ads are watched by choice and are in trade for more resources. This game is SO fun and you can even send friend requests and play with your friends. My only complaint is how the exp level up system works. It appears that you only gain exp when you unlock new cards but not when you upgrade them which it kind of seems counterintuitive.
