## StormThreat Description
Is today a day to watch the sky? StormThreat shows where tornadoes, damaging wind, and large hail are most likely, straight from NOAA's Storm Prediction Center (SPC), on one fast, zoomable map.

Instead of digging through government web pages, open StormThreat and see the threat for your location in seconds.

WHAT YOU GET
• SPC convective outlooks for today, tomorrow, Day 3, and Days 4–8
• Tornado, damaging wind, and large hail probabilities in SPC's official colors
• SPC's new intensity hatching (CIG 1–3), showing where the strongest tornadoes, winds, and hail are possible
• Active Tornado and Severe Thunderstorm Watches, including PDS watches
• Mesoscale Discussions that explain when a watch may be coming
• Today's local storm reports for tornadoes, wind damage, and large hail
• An archive of past outlooks and reports back to 1987

Tap any area for its risk category and details. Pinch and pan to move from your county to the whole country, with street, satellite, and hybrid maps, plus county, state, and NWS office boundaries.

NOW ON APPLE WATCH
StormThreat Pro includes an Apple Watch companion:
• Your SPC risk level at a glance, on a ring in SPC's category colors
• Alerts when your location enters a risk area or the risk goes up
• Alerts when you're inside an active Tornado Watch, Severe Thunderstorm Watch, or Mesoscale Discussion
• Tornado, wind, and hail chances, plus watch-face complications
Connect your watch with one tap from the iPhone app.

BUILT FOR
• Families who want to know "Is today a bad day?"
• Meteorologists who never want to miss a Mesoscale Discussion or watch issuance
• Emergency managers and first responders who follow SPC products all day
• Storm chasers and spotters who live in the outlooks and watches

FREE AND PRO
Free: the Day 1 outlook, active watches, storm reports, and the last 3 days of the archive.

StormThreat Pro adds Day 2, Day 3, and Day 4–8 Outlooks, Mesoscale Discussions, the full archive back to 1987, and the Apple Watch companion.

StormThreat Pro is an auto-renewing subscription: $2.99 per month, or $19.99 per year with a 7-day free trial. Payment is charged to your Apple Account at confirmation of purchase. The subscription renews automatically unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period, and your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours before the period ends. Manage or cancel anytime in your App Store account settings. Any unused portion of a free trial is forfeited when you purchase a subscription. Prices may vary by country.

IMPORTANT
StormThreat shows SPC (Storm Prediction Center) forecasts and watches (severe thunderstorm and tornado), which are usually issued prior to a local Weather Forecast Office issuing warnings if the need develops. Always follow the National Weather Service, local media, and NOAA Weather Radio for warnings and life-saving information.
