App update
I love StoryGraph, but the latest update leaves a lot to be desired. The banner at the top of the page covers the search bar. I much preferred the roll down menu that was at the top and off to the side.

I adore it. This has helped me manage my reading in so many ways: tracking where I am in each book (I'm going between 18, so this is crucial), Having one place to collate which books I want to read (constantly available at my finger tips) is incredible and it is a satisfying way to see what i read each month and year, and interesting stats about each book has helped me find more of what I like. I recommend it to everyone I know, twice. It should be N.1! I am a student and I enjoy using the free version (almost daily, amazing user experience), looking forward to supporting the paid version in years to come!
Storygraph is my favourite way of tracking my reading. The graphs and statistics are satisfying to look at. You can get as detailed as you wish (or not!) and it’s a clear and easy app to use. I can’t recommend it enough.
The overall functionality of the app is brilliant - using the camera for scanning barcodes - nightmare.. the constant import screen because the camera won’t detect the barcode is the letdown.
No more generative AI features if you respect authorship and understand that the act of reading is a meeting of minds. Please.
Presumably the developers Mum. As an app that’s primary purpose is to log the books you read you might imagine that it would, well, log those books. It doesn’t though. At least not with any consistency. Tried to add my second book and never showered in the list. A couple of hours later I had read it about 8 times. Deleted 7 of those and returned to never having read it. Added it back in once, never to be seen again. You know what, notes and iCloud was clunky but it worked which is better than being a bit less clunky and not working. So gone back to that.
I really love this app. It is a great way to track your reading and see a heap of interesting breakdowns of your data. It is also a terrific way to find new books to read!
Nadia has developed the most incredible app! With the ability to rate and review books, see what friends are reading, get recommendations, and access so much data about my reading life, I have never had so many books on my TBR.
I used to use goodreads but I felt that it was too focused on the social aspects rather than tracking my own reading habits, if you like goodreads but it’s not quite what you are looking for, you should absolutely give StoryGraph a go! The buddyread function has been great for my bookclub, my habits around reading have massively improved, and who doesn’t love a good graph!! Definitely my favourite bookish app
Love this app, so many more features and stats than the other popular reading tracker app. My personal fave is tracking minutes from audiobooks! It’s also helpful to track countries or languages if you’re trying to read more diverse books. The app is pretty user friendly, but there are some things that require searching for and I ended up having to google a bit as there doesn’t seem to be a help or FAQ page anywhere?
