The app is really good and it has encouraged me to spent more time with my book instead of the phone, but it definitely has some bugs. The main bug that annoys me is that when I input the pages I have read so far, and then the next day I got to enter a new portion, the progress won’t be the yesterday one, but even further back, which is unsettling (I’m currently reading a book and yesterday I have read around 30 pages - 159 since the beginning; the problem is that today I was about to input my new 30 pages, but suddenly I was at about 127, which was from further ago)

I would give it 4.5 stars only because I would like for the UX design to be updated but other than that this app is TRULY AWESOME! I recommend it to every person who cares to listen.
You can track everything, you can make goals for books, pages, hours read. I only use the free version and it’s more than enough for my reading needs. You even have the option to mark your DNF books. You can add books if they are not in the database. This was clearly made by people who read!
I have won 2 giveaways of e-books and when there was an issue with the download of one, they sent it over email to all winners because some had reported the issue (just to make sure everyone got it, how cool is that?).
I heard about the app on TikTok and have been loyal to it ever since!
And you know what the best part is? It was founded by a woman and it is not owned by a nasty billionaire who wants to kill the industry by monopolising it!
Non functioning
Can’t create an account. Just keeps kicking me back to the “log in” page. Deleting now. Waste of time.
Second year in a row
This the 2nd year in a row that I can’t access the app or site. All the new people can just not established members. I gave them a second chance because they claimed they upgraded the servers. Clearly they were lying. Use any other app over the liars and con artists at storygraph.
Broken App
Sadly after signing up for an account the app ceased to work. After uninstalling and reinstalling multiple times it never successfully loaded
Doesn’t work
Just a plain gray screen on every single tab.
Impossible lag
Not sure if it’s the influx of new people on the app, but the app took forever to load, after I entered all the information to create a new account, it returned to the same screen so I had no idea if the account was created. But the lag, my goodness. Home Screen wouldn’t load, it was impossible to navigate. Installed and uninstalled in less than a day.
Lots of Potential
I’ve heard great things about this app but I’m not impressed. There is potential but a lot needs to be fixed, like the speed. I can’t get anything to load properly and it’s super glitchy. It also doesn’t link with my kindle. The aesthetic is a bit strange too and difficult to navigate. I’ll stick with Goodreads for now and check back on StoryGraph in a year or so.

Yikes, wanted to make the transition from GR but I can’t even get it to function. It keeps timing out and is sooo buggy and slow

i have been a regular storygraph user for the past year and love this platform. some of my fav features include the data, graphs, and ability to pause a book. it’s nice how responsive the storygraph team is to its users by providing regular updates/roadmap. i look forward to the progress to come!
