HOW IT WORKS

Storytel is available in 25+ countries, including both local and international story treasures in different languages. A subscription gives you access to our ever-growing library of audiobooks, ebooks, and other stories.

In-app subscriptions will be charged via your iTunes account. Your subscription will automatically renew at the end of the subscription period unless auto renewal is turned off in your iTunes account settings at least 24 hours before your subscription period runs out.

When a free trial is offered, we will ask you to add a payment method when starting the trial. But don't worry – if you cancel before the last day of the trial you won't be charged.

Why No Landscape View for IPAD users??

its annoying that i need to remove my IPAD from its key docking station as the app doesnt support Landscape view which is very basic to most of the ebook app, frustrating

Can be improved

The features are quite poor. I can’t read and listen at the same time which is important if I need to understand new Chinese characters. Please take a look at Headway app and learn from them.

Good audio, smaller choice of e-books

I was looking for a good reading subscription and subscribed for a year, but was a bit disappointed with the selection of the books. You’ll find a lot of audio and business books, but much less fiction reading. Yuval Harrari, Hemingway, Arthur Golden - some of these classics are only available in audio (or not available at all). I guess they’ll improve over time.

Better than a bookstore

So many books! Yes, they are mostly audiobooks, but I have more on my bookshelf than I can get through in 6 months and new suggestions for great stuff all the time. I love it.
