## Str8ts HD Description
Overplayed Sudoku? Try Str8ts - the best new number puzzle game.
Str8ts is a number puzzle that is easy to learn, has simple rules, requires no math skills and is addictive as Sudoku. Few puzzles have the amount of depth and variety as Str8ts. You are encouraged to find multiple solving techniques as you progress between different levels of difficulties.

Like Sudoku you need to place numbers uniquely in each row and column. But the dark blue cells add a new dimension. These divide the rows and columns into compartments which work like a poker hand - you have to make sure the numbers are like a 'straight', like 5,6,7 and 8 - but they can be in any order. There are clues to start you off and ensure the puzzle has just one solution. The clues in dark blue cells rule out that number in the row and column and can't be used as part of a straight.

For this app we've splashed out on smart functionality, easy to use controls, help and an app tutorial, cool graphics and plenty of puzzles.

All the puzzles created for this game were made by Andrew Stuart, who has published puzzles in many newspapers around the world.

Spiele gerne und regelmäßig mit der App und habe auch Rätsel dazu gekauft. Das hat alles geklappt. 
Leider gibt es kleinere Bugs mit dem Undo System. Die vorher geschriebenen Zahlen bleiben irgendwie intern gespeichert und werden nicht sauber überschrieben. So kann es vorkommen, dass das Rätsel abgeschlossen wird, ohne das alles ausgefüllt wurde, oder auch, dass es nicht beendet, obwohl alles ausgefüllt wurde , weil intern andere Zahlen vermerkt wurden als angezeigt.

Ich finde Str8ts super, tuts auf allen iOS. Leider bin ich ferig :-( Kann ich alle (!) Rätsel zurück setzen und neu beginnen?

Seit ein paar Wochen hängt sich die App auf und “stürzt” direkt ab. Spielen ist nicht mehr möglich. Schade.

In allen Schwierigkeitsstufen geht es nach Level 5 nicht mehr weiter. Seeeehr schade, da es eigentlich genau das str8ts ist, das ich wollte 😒

### *---- "Geht nicht mehr unter iOS 17"
Leider ist die App seit Update auf iOS 17 nicht mehr nutzbar. Verschwindet nach Auswählen des Spiels im Hintergrund und wenn man es wieder nach vorne bringt ist man wieder beim Auswahlbildschirm. Nutzlos. App Support reagiert nicht.

Nachdem die ersten 4 schwersten Rätsel gelöst sind, lässt sich das nächste nicht öffnen. Schade eigentlich.Sonst okay.

Leider ist für Kategorie „expert“ noch zu einfach zu lösen. Sämtliche Puzzle sind in 5-10 Minuten gelöst (ohne die Eingabe von Kandidaten)
Wenn hier noch eine Stufe draufgeschlagen werden kann, so dass sie mehr den weekly extrem-str8ts  entsprechen gibts volle 5 Punkte!

Leider wurden beim Kauf von neuen Leveln auch bei Neustart die Level nicht freigeschaltet. Nachdem Ich also auf die Taste gedrückt habe, dass ich die Level auf einem anderen Gerät bereits freigeschaltet habe, stürzte die App ab. Nun stürzt die App immer ab, wenn ich auf diese gekauften Level clicke.

Darstellung und Bedienung der App sind super. Erweiterungen gibt’s für wenig Geld, was für eine werbefreie (!) App absolut ok ist. Leider wird, wie von vielen bereits beklagt, der letzte Schritt gelegentlich falsch bewertet – korrekte Eingaben gelten als falsch, falsche werden als richtig angezeigt. Dieser Schönheitsfehler ist aber verschmerzbar, ebenso, dass im Moment der richtig beendeten Lösung das Gesamtfeld nicht mehr betrachtet werden kann. Und eines noch: Die Angabe der Schwierigkeitsgrade ist unzuverlässig, aber das merkt man ja spätestens beim Spielen ...
