Stranger Soccer

First started using this app around 8 years ago. However, recently they have been increasing the prices like crazy. ~$25 just to play one game plus they have also quietly added GST and transaction fees for topping up etc. On top of that, SS games are getting worse. Games cancelled at the last minute, pitches double booked, hosts showing up late. The list goes on…

Very easy to use. Made it very easy for me to engage in fun weekly football sessions with multiple locations and timings available

They advertise having the option to cancel a membership anytime, but it’s actually within 72 hours before the next billing date in hidden text. They also save your credit card details without your permission, so they lock you into an auto renewal subscription system. Tried contacting their Support email, no reply. Their Singapore team is shambolic. Scummy.

TONS of hidden fees. Games will be listed at $20, for example. To book the game a 2.50 platform fee is automatically added. Now your game is $22.50. To pay your 22.50 for your game, an 80 cent top up fee is needed. Slimy app. If these people aren’t blood sucking enough, if you leave your notifications on for ONE day expect your phone to be flooded with random advertisements. Decent idea for an app, executed by slime bags

Excellent concept which allows us to play football easily as well as many wonderful hosts that are welcoming and friendly. Made my whole experience a joyous one and my first game with then was definitely a core memory.

Customer service is terrible. Booked in the afternoon for an evening game but had something urgent came up. Contacted customer service on WhatsApp and told me only able to cancel 24 hours before the game if not it’s considered no show and no refund. How to cancel if literally booked on the same day. Had played so many games with them but no leeway given. Only allow death or hospitalisation for cancellation. First time requesting to cancel btw. Booking by yourself will be much cheaper. I guess they can afford to lose customers now.

This app solves all the struggles of wanting to play soccer, with a simple click. With constant discounts and the multiple locations around Singapore, playing soccer has never been easier. Would definitely recommend this app to anyone who loves playing soccer and even to a beginner who wants to pick up a new skill as they have games specially allocated for beginners as well!
