Users have the ability to remotely control their smart devices in the unit (including thermostats, lighting, and more!), submit service requests, request access for visitors, and much more! You can’t get into your apartment if your phone is dead. Plus, the app is so slow. It’s so inconvenient to have to take out your phone and wait for it to connect to the door especially when you’re running late. I live and work at a company that uses the app and fob system through them. We have been experiencing technical issues for 2 days. People are getting locked out of the garage, entrance to the building, amenities, etc. They told us it’s not an emergency because the app is back up. I explained the app is having an issue as well. They said they “forwarded” the issue to the emergency team. They have provided 0 tangible action items they are taking to resolve it. I haven’t receive an update without calling them. They refuse to let me speak to a supervisor and just give the run around saying they are looking into it. It should not take 2 days to hear from someone other than rep who can only tell me to replace 1000+ fobs which is grossly unreasonable to expect us to have that many replacement keys for a clearly technical issue on their part. The app is spotty at best and has issues every couple months which leads to folks being stuck outside the building at any hour of the night or day. They could at the very least spare a few minutes to have an in depth convo with paying customers, but apparently they have better things to do. If they took care of their customers I’d say it’s a decent app/system, but if you ever have an issue they are not very responsive and are quick to defer to blaming the other companies they integrate with. -- TiDanLu678, 2024-12-19 ### *---- "Thumbs down" Never works right -- TomBetsUnders, 2024-12-14 ### *---- "Worst ever." There are some real safety concerns when it takes 30 full seconds standing outside your door at night. You also can’t give anyone access to it, so if you’re going out of town or need a neighbor to take care of something, you can’t grant them temporary access (like you would hand them a key). It’s tied to your phone and you have to go through customer service to change it. -- Collin689, 2024-11-27 ### *---- "Doesn’t work most of the time" My apartment building recently switched to smart locks for the apartments, entrances, and underground garage. The app doesn’t work most of the time leaving me scrambling looking for my pin. The app constantly look for internet connection to load the locks even though I never close app. I have no signal in the garage so when I pull phone down there most of the time it fails to load the locks since there is no connection even though the app was open in the background.
