Streaks Reviews

Simply Works

Al Kiar on

Canada

It’s really straightforward and simple to use. They focus a lot on the streaks aspect of habits and it does trigger some sort of response in me to keep it going even when I feel tired or unmotivated. Works way better than any other habit tracking app but I wish there was an optional map display of seeing your progress with your habits (for example if I keep a 20 day streak, I’d see on the map I’m 25% of the way to reaching my ultimate goal or etc.)

No interactive widgets

AlexW1992 on

iOS 17 released interactive widgets. I do not want to have to open the app every time I log something. This app is dated.

Just excellent, easy to use and powerful habit tracker. Don’t waste your time looking for a better habit tracking app.

Have tried 3 other habit apps and have been disappointed with complicated / busy displays, unintuitive etc. Wanted simple nice tactile UI which is easy / simple to use and flexible. 8 days in it has already made a huge difference for me personally. I didn’t think I would possibly need more than 24 slots - but based on how well things are going I can see why others have raised this. 100pct worth the 8 dollars. One thing worth noting from a UI perspective - short taps and long holds unlock different things. At first it was unintuitive for me to do a long hold on a button but its really smart and reduces clutter - other app devs should consider.

Interesting

Dj Lopan on

I thought I’d hate the simplicity of this app. I also thought I’d hate the constant reminders and notifications. But, strangely, after my first 5 day streak I started really pining for those stars and realized that this app works. You just have to be honest with yourself, streaking when you haven’t accomplished your goal only makes the streak a fake one, and quickly, you’ll see results and strive for them. Simple, but effective.

A life positive

As others have said, it’s not often an app makes a positive difference in one’s life.

Great Habits

Clunky app with awful health integration

NormandyExpressCrew on

Canada

This app is clunky, hard to navigate and doesn't look good at all. I was willing to suffer through that for functionality, but it doesn't even have that. I tried to have it count my steps and automatically tick off a step goal, but it's throwing out completely random numbers for the steps. Other apps will either add up all my steps from my Apple Watch and phone, or only count the steps from my phone. This one does neither and shows a number no other app shows so it's completely useless. Wish I had a chance to try it for free like most other apps have but no. I had to waste $9 on a useless app.
