Streaks

This app has helped me meet all sorts of personal goals, from losing weight, increasing fitness, mental health. I was motivated to write this review after I got a bug in the app, and you’ll notice it is 5 stars… in this globalised day and age it is relatively rare to get speedy customer support from a real person. But I did and they fixed my problem. Great app and great developers.

I love this app so much. I’ve been using it for several months now and it’s helped me kick some bad habits and create some good ones and as well as habits it helps me work consistently on things I’m trying to get better at or projects I’m working on. Can’t recommend it enough

I’ve not come up with a goal I want to track yet that I can’t do in Streaks. It’s great at nudging me into good habits. This flexibility comes at the cost of a UI that’s sometimes pretty confusing. For example, it’s not particularly intuitive to know that you can cycle between states from the calendar view if you normally use the gauge view. However, the overall experience is great. Best way I’ve found so far to use the gamified approach of Brilliant or Duolingo to keep you motivated to build a habit or complete a long task.

Streaks makes tracking completed tasks an absolute breeze. The app is well-designed, with a brilliantly intuitive (and good-looking) interface, so that core functionality is pretty much entirely self-explanatory. That’s an achievement by itself, but what really blew me away was how deeply customisable, flexible, and powerful the app is if you take a bit of time to dive into the menus and explore what it’s really capable of: custom task scheduling, automatic reminders, finding trends in completion data, the list of features goes on and on. One of the very few apps I use every day, and I’ve come to rely on Streaks to manage much of my day-to-day work both personally and professionally. Absolute gem of an app.

My mate recommended this app and I was slightly dubious, but it really has changed my life. I’m always starting a fitness regimen and I forget to do it for 2 days, then it’s gone and all the hard work is wasted. This app has made me form good habits and I don’t want to start from zero again…so I do my exercises regardless of time of night, mindset or tiredness. I’ve now added a few lifestyle reminders - like calling a friend, heating healthy etc - and it’s be great. Highly recommend.

The app is great, probably would be a four star by itself as it is an amazing app but sometimes paying for apps can be a bit much for some people but it’s five stars because of how it can use info from Apple health and put info into Apple health

Takes a while to find where everything is, some features are relatively hidden, which isn’t great for UX. The features and functionality present are well thought out. But for the cost, it should not be artificially limiting its users to 24 total active tasks. I can see the limit used to be 12, which would be inexcusable. I can understand how a limit can force the user to decide what’s actually important - but that’s not something the app should impose upon paying customers. It would be good to have a habit for a certain medication being taken x times per week. Although this is a restriction on Apple’s Health API.

The only thing that has kept me going during a hard transition towards clean & healthy living! I’m motivated m, I’m mindful and I’m keeping on top of all my healthy habits thanks to Streak! Highly recommend

App time to time gets stuck in logo screen when opened. Have to restart the phone for it to work. Makes it unusable.
