## Stretch Description
Stretch - A continuous period of time. Stretch is a count down timer. It's designed to be to as simple as possible. It comes with five large buttons, each of which starts a preset count down timer, and a large reset button to stop the count down should you wish. It also keeps a count of how many times the count down has been run.

Stretch is useful for lots of things. Here's a quick list of things you might time with Stretch:

- Stretching!
- Exercising
- Rest periods
- Boiling eggs
- Steeping tea
- Brewing coffee
- Naughty corner

Stretch timers will run in the background and while your device is locked and the alerts will mix nicely with other audio if it's playing. There are options to disable the auto-lock, and to repeat timers indefinitely.

Instructions:
- Timer durations can be edited by tapping and holding a button until the editor opens.
- The count can be reset by tapping it.

## Stretch Reviews in United States

### ***** "Best Timer App Out There"
Use this app to replace an analog timer in my gym, love the big display and the simplicity, don’t have to keep pushing buttons to change times and especially like that the timer resets itself instead of just beeping until I go turn it off. Elegantly efficient !
-- MerAngler, 2025-11-08

### ***-- "Reset count?"
Feature request – option for the Reset button to reset the count
-- tomisenbarger, 2023-07-20

### ***-- "Sound stopped working"
I love this app but suddenly the terminal beeps have disappeared. Tried deleting and reacquiring but still no sound. Sound is turned ON on my iPhone.
-- Fox Farm, 2023-06-10

### ***-- "Easy to use"
I like the preset times it would be nice to add my own time to a preset button
I have hearing aids connected to my phone via Bluetooth and when I use the app it automatically connects to my hearing aids so I can’t hear the therapist no app settings to disable the feature if I turn off my Bluetooth it’s a hassle repairing my hearing aids
-- Greggregor, 2022-12-13

### ****- "Perfect other than volume"
I hoped to get a timer on my phone that would allow me to time stretches during PT. And I wanted it to be concurrent with the podcast playing I listened to while stretching. And finally, I wanted it to count the number of stretch exercises.

So this app is perfect. AND it has large buttons that are easy to hit when in various stretching positions.

The only way it could be better is if I could adjust the timer beep volume independent of the podcast volume. At a volume where I can easily hear my podcast, the beeper volume is uncomfortably high.
-- Jersey Dave 10203, 2022-10-15

### ***** "Great app"
Use it daily for physical therapy. I would love to see and use it from my Apple Watch.
-- cestposible, 2022-06-08

### ***** "We need more apps like this!"
Simple, free, and works
-- Tsmac88, 2021-09-26

### ***** "Simple, Efficient, Beautiful!"
Just brilliantl!
-- AmooPedi, 2020-10-20

### ***** "Update idea"
First of all, this app works great. It is simple but does exactly what you want it to do. You can even customize the shortcut times. One recommendation is to decrease the font size when I split the screen on my iPad. When I have a workout video and the timer side by side, but the timer window is narrow, it doesn’t show the times, it just says “...” for all of the buttons.
-- Ke.v.in, 2020-06-05

### ***** "Thank you"
i have been looking for something like this for such a long t8me and was considering making it myself. now i don't have to.
