This was my first time setting up and using a cell cam after getting the Defender Pro Scout Max and what a breeze it was! One of my favorite features on the app is being able to filter and sort your images/videos into many different categories such as moon phase, temperature, and pressure ranges. Absolutely love it!
I have saved hundreds of dollars in time and gas using this App. I have a YouTube channel called Farm Pest Management – Air Gun, and do pesting on farms, and have incorporated the Browning trail cams into my business. I used to constantly drive back-and-forth to the farms to check my trail cam SD cards before I got the Browning Wireless cam and Strike Force Wireless app. Since I have been using this app that’s connected to my wireless cams, I not only save time but gasoline also. I can just take a look at my Strike Force app and not have to drive out to the farm every time… it shows me everything I need to see based on my set up. I have read in the reviews that some people have had issues with this App… but I have had nothing but great results. It was so easy to set up and use, and it is very intuitive. I purchased the $30 a month wireless subscription, and it loaded and set up so Easy Peazy! Just make sure that you have the latest updates installed. My browning wireless trail cam has been on the farm now for 2 1/2 months without any issues with this App, and I check it constantly. I rely daily, monthly and yearly on my Browning trail cams and wireless cam that I have set up, and I need them to work flawlessly… and they do… Plus the app for the wireless version has to keep me informed and up-to-date on the pest that are doing damage to the fields on the farm. I can’t say enough about the Browning company and their products. I am very satisfied with my Browning trail cams and the Strike Force Wireless App. I hope this review helps with your decision making. Cheers, Mark
By far the easiest cell cam to work in the industry! I’m running 12 cameras now. I literally took it out of the box and threw some batteries and a SD card in it, turned it on, linked it to my account and it’s up and running. Pictures are high quality and app is user friendly. I’m very satisfied with the Brownings!
I’ve been using the Strikeforce app for 3 years and have never experienced any issues. Setting up the cameras and plan are easy and just take a few steps. I love the ability to control all of my cameras settings through the app. And love getting my pictures immediately sent to my phone. I have 4 Browning cameras on my plan and it is easy to see pictures and settings for each individual camera. Creating categories makes it easy to quickly find pictures of specific animals. The sort and filters make it easy to find pictures or videos from specific dates, moon phases, temperatures, etc.
Ordered a couple of Browning cell cameras, and got them set up on the SFW account. Had a bit of an issue with adding a subscription, but ended up getting it fixed. The cameras have been out for a few weeks, and working great.
Recently got a cell cam and set up an account. Was able to do so in about 5 minutes with no issues. It took me the longest to peruse the plans and select the right one. Cams been out for a few days and has already sent a few hundred pics to the app and all seems to work well.
The cameras are rock solid, I have some over 2 years old been in harsh conditions and keep working while using very little battery power. The app is not a compliment to the hardware. Sorting has been broken for over 1 year. When viewing a picture the pictures always reset to the most recent. When I’m looking at a picture from months prior and I have to scroll back it’s extremely frustrating. This was never an issue in the previous platform.
Adding an option for Face ID has now broken the app and it won’t accept ANY password, including Face ID. So now I’m paying for wireless service on a camera that I cannot access, because of an app update that wasn’t tested before being released. Oh, and another thing…a middle-school coder could make the iPad version landscape compatible, but apparently Browning, with all of their money, can’t contract with someone who has basic skills to accomplish this simple task.
With the latest update, the app is requesting login credentials. When I enter the credentials, I get a message stating ‘there was a problem logging in.’ This is happening on both an android and iPhone device. Two entirely separate accounts. Please advise.
