Using our laser bullet, target and smart phone mount, the app records the target and records the users shot scores based on where the laser hit the target. The app is composed of 3 sections: Section 1 – Training The training section is the initial area of the app where the user can practice their shooting skills. Upon beginning a session, a warning screen is shown to ensure that proper firearm safety is taking place before beginning a session. Once the user agrees, the target appears on the screen. The user calibrates the screen to the target by using two fingers to cover the circumference of the target. Then, the distance from the target is selected and they can begin shooting. Each shot from the firearm triggers a laser, which emits a laser strike on the target, and the app records the score. Shooting metrics appear on the screen to show the user how they are doing during the session. This is accompanied by audio. Once the session is complete, all shots will be shown on the target and saved into an archive. Section 2 – History The history section provides screenshots, shooting metrics, and graphs for the user to track their progress. This includes average score, average range, total shots and total sessions. The information is presented on a histogram and a pie chart. This information is saved in an archive. Section 3 – Settings The settings section allows the user to turn on/off gun shot audio and voice feedback. Users can toggle the distance metric, selecting either feet or yards. They can also report an issue if the app isn’t working correctly. The App provides access to the initial tutorial to ensure that all safety precautions are being taken. Just re-downloaded the app and was practicing within 5 minutes. Crazy simple and easy to use. I got this a while back and put it on a shelf because it seemed a little complicated. BUT, Pulled it off the shelf today, and was dry firing with 5 minutes. Calibration was easy, and it worked like a charm. -- B_RadBurnett, 2026-04-24 ### *---- "It never seems to work" I’ve had this for a couple of years… it worked ok at first, but it never registers my shots or calibrates correctly. It has gone thru the various updates, but is still useless. What was a great idea has turned into a waste of money -- SC_Trojan83, 2026-04-20 ### **--- "Calibration issues" My wife and I finally got to try this tonight. I am more than disappointed with the app after all the hype. The calibration does not work correctly. Even when you put the tripod so that the camera is right in front of the target, the circle still doesn’t line up correctly with the target. Super disappointed! -- reviewer906610228, 2026-02-01 ### **--- "Not very accurate" Not really worth money, I tried using with my AR and it was off. And then when you walk by a shadow will trigger it and say you took 5 different shorts rapidly. I bought 3 different laser and the all 3 aren’t accurate. I regret buying this and now it will just take up space. Very disappointing for the price. -- Darion86575884749/38394747, 2026-01-25 ### **--- "Not as advertised" I give 2 stars to this app because it will track your shots (most of the time) with the standard mode of setting shot count and then resetting. Outside of that it’s does not work as advertised. The pro version has “shot time” and drill capabilities but they do not work. The shot time tracker does not track your hits properly and doesn’t track your times. The in app data for a session or round is horrible. No shot times. Just says 0 and average of 0. Reached out to Strikeman multiple times via email and got not response. Go with mantis Strikeman app and customer service just is bad. -- RBPatriot12, 2026-01-24 ### ***-- "Cannot add friends" I got this as a gift and then got it for my brother so we could compete. I cannot add him or see his invite to add me. I sent in a support email and have not received any response. -- OG mage, 2026-01-23 ### ***-- "Ok" Just unboxed and used this for about an hour. I carry a firearm professionally and was looking for something to get a little practice at home. First, the laser and app did work really well. I felt most shots were fairly accurate. No complaints there. My main complaint is charging a monthly subscription to get any real use out of this thing. After charging me $100+ for basically a laser pointer and some plastic, asking for a monthly subscription seems very greedy. Also IMO training this way could result in some very dangerous habits. I found myself getting very fast at shooting then immediately racking to reset trigger. A motor skill that could kick in during an intense moment when a life is on the line. Maybe good for someone who is just learning to shoot, to get some reps at home before going to the range, but definitely not something you want to be doing often. -- LT Demasi, 2025-12-29 ### ***** "Solid App" Has its ups and downs when it comes to updates but seems like the devs are listening. Great tool for a great price. -- Mathco, 2025-12-23 ### ***** "Good but would love more free target options" Really good for a beginner like me. I wish there was actual recoil so it would feel more real but that can’t be controlled with that cartridge. Also please let us have a free shooting option where instead of choosing a session we shoot till we stop. But overall I really like the app -- 🦊. C, 2025-12-18 ### **--- "Missing my shots" the app won’t register your shots. Fix the app please!! -- Mmchee, 2025-10-29 [View all Strikeman reviews and detailed analytics on AppTail](https://app.apptail.io/signup?utm_campaign=ai-crawl&utm_content=reviews) ## Strikeman In-App Purchases | Item | Price | |------|-------| | Strikeman Pro Monthly | $9.99 | | Yearly Strikeman Subscription | $79.99 | ## Strikeman Store Rankings | Chart | Country | Category | Rank | |-------|---------|----------|------| | Top Grossing | Canada | Sports | #70 | | Top Grossing | South Africa | Sports | #87 | ## Strikeman Discovered Keywords -
